I hear about employees doing nothing all the time there, from the employees themselves, even for overtime pay. Its a game to see who can do the least, who can wander the buildings the most to look busy, or who can find the best place to sleep. Maybe its time for the government to do a little research on the amount of people they have working there, and what they actually do. If employees actually worked, you could probably cut labor force in half for efficiency.
I worked at Sikorsky when I was in college back in 1968. Nice to see they are still sleeping in the bathrooms and the helicopter equipment bays! Used to hear guys snoring in the bathroom stalls etc.

Record profits and pay for management while the workers get a pay freeze, unpaid furlough days and layoffs.

Typical.

A crap organization with a toxic culture.

The unions will bring that place down like they did on all the manufacturing companies that once make Connecticut the attraction like AVCO, ACCO,American Fabric, and so many that Bridgeport is now a ghost town, and the only business it's DRUGS..

True, Bernie, I do think, having dealt with the parent corp, they are unlikely to want to ever deal with another strike, so expect them to shift stuff out of Ct en masse.

Daily Horoscope for December 23

Gemini

You're in a very erratic mood today, making you restless, edgy and nervy. It may be almost impossible to settle to anything for long, because, as Mercury slows, you soon lose interest. If life becomes boring you'll want to liven it up in some way and it's likely you'll choose the most disruptive and controversial option you can think of, even though you know this will cause trouble.
