Found out what the sign Enough is Enough actually stands for!
"Ever wonder how come blight is bothering so many of our residents, yet there is no big push from Town Hall to eliminate it. Ever notice how everyone is happy when a foreclosed house is mowed but 3 weeks later, here we go again.
Well guess what, if enough people vote for me in November, and I get to be Mayor, I know one thing I will do right away about this blight problem. I will assemble a group of volunteers that will comb our town and report to my office any consistent blight that needs attention. Then I will ask the Town’s lawyers to update and review not only our ordinances but our state statutes as well, to get a better enforceable law on our books with fines if our law is not upheld.
My administration will enforce the Blight laws. We will put fines on these violators causing blight and if the blight continues, so will the fines. Correcting the blight could cost less than the fines. Our Town, under my administration, won’t stand for blight. I believe anyone causing blight should be fined. I’ve had Enough of excuses why blight is still here; remember “Enough is Enough.”
WTH? What on earth does this woman think she's going to do for the town of East Hartford & its citizens by passing ridiculous laws such as the ones which she mentioned?
Start bringing decent jobs to the town and make it a safe place to live, like it used to be.
Stop thinking that charging people's fines or enacting foolish laws like this will do a thing for the safety of East Hartford, its citizens, or its economy!
People don't want to live in the town of East Hartford anymore because it's so bloody unsafe!
And if you're planning on doing any combing at all, try combing through all the inhabitants of the town who think it's their right to break state or federal laws that put people's lives & their health at risk! Instead of worrying about people being "irritated"! Give us a break!
Or better yet, try start combing through the public servants of the town you're running who don't want to enforce the state laws even! You've got a number of negligent public servants in your town Mrs. Clarke who don't want to do their jobs properly!2329
