Or has been discovered since that time?

Where would we be without the stimulus? Would we have any banks left? we were losing 750,000 jobs a month when Obama took office...now that number is down to 160,000 a month...where would we be withoutthe stimulus? What was the Republican plan? Oh, right, there never was one. Unemployment is above 10%. Where the hell do you get your numbers? Huffington or Disney?

Bush's own Commission on Social Security reported that there would be a 1 trillion $$ problem...in other words...no funding source other than borrow from the current Social Security fund, or borrow from general revenues. More kicking the can down the road, while boosting control by those economic gurus on Wall Street. http://www.socsec.org/publications.asp... You simply twist the facts to fit your ideology. I ask you once again, what legislatipn was ever passed by the Republican majority from 2000 - 2001 that helped Americans or reduced the deficit? So, NOW we are suddenly supposed to listen to Republicans about this issue? This whole us versus them really fits your thought process. We are about to get socked with a healthcare plan with a trillion dollar price tag. This is happening NOW. If the GOP screwed up perhaps we should gather them in a group and point fingers and taunt them. We are getting screwed NOW. We have an opportunity to stop this and some clowns are saying. "well, look at what Bush did". Who cares?

I'd like to hear what he's going to say about it. Pretty lame in terms of terror attacks. I don't think jihadist Christians declared war on the United States by killing 3000 of our innocents or opened fire on our military. Just in case you're tempted to slip back into a 9/10 mindset like many already have on the left, you should probably be reminded that we ARE still at war with radical Muslim jihadists. This guy was a radical, a Muslim and a self-proclaimed jihadist. Your reluctance to recognize a terrorist until "stuff surfaces" (no thanks to the politically correct lame stream media) is unnerving to me. If you can't even recognize the enemy, you better be prepared to run for cover. Because they sure recognize weakness and this country's preoccupation with petty political correctness. It will be our undoing if we insist on lying to ourselves while looking like spineless wusses in their eyes. This may have been one guy who acted alone in the name of jihad, but the rest of them are watching our reaction. You can be sure of that.

You delusional moron. What about Bin laden him self. Wasn't he responsible for the 1st attack on the twin towers. No wonder why I can't stay on here very long. You people are just to stupid for me to waste my time on. Your fckking racist charlatan president and the first racist are fckking up this country as I type and all you can do is spew your stupid nonsense. You lefties are all sick SOB's. Real unemployment tops 22% Obama figures deliberately understate economic downturn http://www.wnd.com/index.php... Yes they just extended "unemployment" bennies again. But what most didn't see is that they stalled on voting for this on purpose until unemployment bennies ran out for thousands. Which of course, they are now not entitled to the extension. They purposely let them drop off the rolls first so they would not be counted, so the unemployed stat "numbers" would be smaller and not show actual growth. It would also "appear" unemployment numbers are steady or dropping.
