suzanne wrote: I believe the entire Global Warming is a Hoax. This is not about the enviroment But, Control and Taxes. This is an easy way for the Governments to collect more revenue. What we need to do is stop creating so much garbage. This actually does worry me. When I was a kid in a family of 5 we had 1 small aluminum garbage can and their was no recycling. We did however return our glass bottles to the store. Today my neighborhood is filled with huge plastic 55gal garbage cans. On average I would say each household has at least 2 cans, plus their recycling bins and most important Their Pile Of huge items like appliances, old cabinets, tile, carpeting ect. I am amazed every week at how much garbage is thrown out each and every week. We have become a throw away society. People dont keep things the way they used to. My parents to this day have the same furniture from when I was a kid. Yes, they have had the couch, chairs ect re-upholstered but the actual wood frame ect. is still all their. My mothers refridgerator just stopped working last year. She had the receipt it was from 1978,(yes I know it wasnt energy efficient). Nowdays I dont have one friend or neighbor that keeps their furniture for longer than 12-15yrs. It seems every week on garbage day I see more and more huge items thrown out. This is what I feel needs to be done. We need to start making things that last and stop being a disposable society. We need to end using disposable diapers (my neighbor next door just told me she goes through aprox 60+ disposable diapers a week. WHOA !! Then I think that doesnt include the wipes and the bag she uses to put the diaper in. Thats just one baby. It seems every ad on tv now states just use it and throw it away. This in my opinion is what needs to stop!! We are a throw away society and this is what the problem is. If I see one more family at the dollar store say to their kids "just pick out 3 things" and the kids get 3 toys use them for the day or weekend and then the parents throw them out !! Think about it. Look at all the packaging that is used just in food. This is what the problem is. We If they truely cared about the enviroment and weren't looking for more control over people and industry they would offer the technology to decrease carbon emission and not simply tax people and businesses energy useage. And Algore wouldn't be using 20 times the amount of energy the average person uses in a year every month if he believed what he's saying.

Because you probably didn't know it's happening, even though it's simple biology. NobodyYouKnow wrote: End of sarcasm. If we 'cleaned' up fossil fuels, they would no longer be 'cheap energy'. Regardless of whether you COULD turn them into 'clean green' fuels. As there's no such thing as, "cheap energy" and that renewable energy isn't cheap, you may be surprised if cleaner fossil fuel is developed.

Please provide information about them.

Man Made Global Warming wrote: The role of human activity in accelerating climate change is beyond doubt. The fourth assessment report (4AR) of the UN scientific body, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), confirmed that an overwhelming majority of scientists now accept the impact of human (anthropogenic) activity on our climate and fear that, if left unchecked, this could lead to runaway warming. While previous changes in the climate have been a result of natural causes alone, this is not true of the present warming. Current human behaviour is leading to global warming by accentuating the greenhouse effect. Surely, since your are from Shirley, you must know Hand of God from Shirley. Or perhaps you are one and the same. In any case surely Shirley and the other Shirley are surely two peas in a pod.

Deniers, of course, demean decades of high science because deniers are.......deniers, people with republican, conservative TV, radio & propaganda websites background. Again, I remind all deniers, AGW theory strengthened & solidified under 3 administrations that were business & energy oriented, receiving funding by those administrations. It has been demonstrated that the conservative administrations did not like the results of developing AGW science & took steps to turn & twist AGW conclusions. But the science could NOT be refuted & continued to strengthen. Deniers on these present topix AGW forums are only the last steps of dying denial. You continue to have an excessively narrow view of the influence of the Sun. Even the small incremental changes you refer to have HISTORICALLY accounted for changes you would consider disproportionate. What I have read of solar effects on earths climate encompasses much more and with greater impact. The interaction on the Earth's geomagnetic field is one such area, feedbacks (I'm sure you know about those for AGW science) also come into play enhancing or weakening otherwise moderate shifts, etc.

Oct 2009 according to NOAA: The average October temperature of 50.8°F was 4.0°F below the 20th Century average and ranked as the 3rd coolest based on preliminary data. http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/sotc/... How many Leftist American Industry Hating Nut jobs are on this site anyway? What is wrong with Nuclear Power again? Oh yes, Hanoi Jane did a movie about that as well. You creeps need to realize just because your favorite Leftist does a movie (Algore, Hanoi, or that Fat Slob Anti-American), doesn't make it the truth. Get out, meet a Girl (or Guy), make money, and have fun. Quit all this envy of what other people have, which is really what this is, and live your lives.
