The American Legion is a non-partisan not-for-profit association of veterans. The use of the hall facilities at the American Legion Post 419 in Amagansett is available for rent to any group or individual for a reasonable fee. Call for reservations.

We are lucky to live in a land that allows such open complaining about government. The price of freedom requires putting up with some whining. Long live good old fashioned town meetings!

Are they doing anything about DiSunno's BDB agenda? No consensus there? Should be an easy 2/3 vote resolution.

I guess the mega cost of living in Amagansett (Hamptons East) hasn't proved to be as good a deal as all these people expected.
That's a shame. Think I'll get a cup of coffee ?

not everyone is rich moron. lots of working class families (contractors, fishermen, etc) that have been here for generations that face the same problems you do. they have every right to complain when their town government has become corrupt, inept and incompetant and now caters solely to rich second homeowners who arent the ones who sustain the local economy in the off season

Working class Long Islanders are rich compared to most of the rest of this great country. They have to be to afford high gas, tax, food bills.

I don't understand why one of these billionaires doesn't just write a check and buy the entire town...
