Are you mad? We already have many poor minorities from Hartford here in Glastonbury living at the Village and it's a mess! Nothing but trouble. There's something like 100 units there so how many more do we need? The condo project is bad enough but now we have to start up another Village?

This is one stupid state. We never take advantage of any tourism opportunities because we're always too busy keeping developers rich. Been to Florida lately? Hundreds of mile of coastline ripped up for condos, condos and more condos. Take a lesson from another crapped up state. Enough with the condos, strip malls and "shops" already!

I'm all for Habitat for Humanity homes, IF the families who move into them show respect for the property and maintain it. Here in upstate NY (where I now live, due to a corporate transfer), we also have Habitat home construction, and sometimes the families who are given the houses
simply trash them and end up being evicted.

I hope Glastonbury has a better "screening process" of the applicants, otherwise you're going to have another Village on your hands.
