Would of, could of, should of....
RIP TYCODY!!! my heart breaks for his family, friends and all of Bacon Academy students who just learned a hard life lesson...I am thankful that TyCody is helping all of us teach our children this lesson... this could have happened to any one! Yes I agree watch you kids at all times be in every angle of their lives BUT... know matter what we do as parents the minute they walk out the door no matter if its noon or 12 AM this crap does happen! I am proud to live in a town where we are one big family!
Bacon Family you keep supporting each other!

my brother and i were best friends with tycody. although, he had many many best friends.
to everyone blaming him, or the parents, or wondering why he had a "motorcycle" at his age and who would allow this, you probably need some more facts.
first of all, it wasn't a motorcycle, it was a street bike. and it wasn't his, even though some articles say it was. it was one of his best friend's (name omitted) from whom tycody was looking to buy. he was taking it for a test ride when the accident occurred.
second, colchester, like many towns in ct, is a fairly quiet town. it's a pretty safe environment and it's NOT uncommon for teenagers to be out at late hours. if you have teens yourself you should know about being able to trust your kids. they weren't doing anything bad; ty just wanted to test ride his friend's street bike.
that being said i will add that as a good friend of ty's i already miss him very much, he was always the happiest kid, the life of the party, a friend to everyone. we all love you ty <333

"Why is a 16 year old on a motorcycle? Who would allow this?"

why are you leaving these comments on this page? it was an accident and the last thing everyone mourning ty's passing wants to read is something like this. ty was an amazing kid and he is incredibly missed. RIP NO NO PE<3

I can't believe this right now.

why can't people here just say RIP Ty and show that their hearts go out to those who lost from this tragic event.

It only Shows how much people want to start putting guilt and blame onto a parent who lost everything.

The bike wasnt his. and hhis mom just came home from work not even 10 minutes before she heard the news.

the whole community is grieving and the rest are saying I told you so.

Breaks my heart

just because he died DOES NOT mean that he never understood his parents, or that his parents never loved him. people make mistakes, this just happened to be one that killed him. You obviously dont know tycody, you dont know how he acted or how great of a kid he was. so take your bullshit somewhere else.
