no way 200K of damages were done, the retaining walls were already falling down before teen had party. Other damages were existing from home being abandoned.... let's get the news correct!

Well, there wouldn't be a debate about how much damage was done if the little kids stayed out a place they had no legal right to be. Each kid arrested should have to pay their share of the restitution and do community service cleaning up the county.

The news is correct: A bunch of pathetic losers raised by a bunch of irresponsible parents have no respect for anyone's property or hard work. Those miserable brats deserve to spend a couple weekends in jail. It doesn't matter is it was a 40 year old airstream tariler or a million dollar house, the crime is the same: They violated someone's home and destroyed it.

Let me guess: Wrong Figure is a parent of one of those fracking losers and doesn't want to pay up. Well, guess what lady, the best part of your kid dripped down his daddy's leg at conception so open up the bank account and pay what you owe for your kid being a waste of space.

Wrong again. Have no kids, but live in neighborhood and was aware of home crumbling in front of our eyes. Also news reported the kids didn't break into the house but wouldn't clarify how they got in... something is fishy here and might be owner trying to cash in with insurance claim and have builder friend do work for cheap and pocket the difference before reported foreclosure...

There are easier ways to commit insurance fraud rather than hiring 84 accomplice/witnesses. There has been a few of these party/break-ins. A friend of mine forwarded me an article about another incident which mentions this one.

Cops: Man gave alcohol to teens who wrecked home

EAST GREENBUSH -- A Sand Lake man is due in court next week to face a charge he gave beer to a minor, which was later consumed by teens partying at a vacant home in North Greenbush, police said.

The teens went on to cause $200,000 worth of damage at the home, police said.
Jayme P. Murphy of Route 150 was charged late last month with a misdemeanor count of first-degree unlawful dealing with a child, according to East Greenbush police.

It is alleged he bought two 12-packs of beer from the Red Mill Mobil station in East Greenbush and gave them to an underage person. Murphy was arrested March 22 and is due in court April 15 for arraignment.

More than 80 teens face various misdemeanor and felony charges of trespassing and criminal mischief in connection with the Feb. 17 party at the 32 Indian Pipe Drive home in the Pond Hill Development. House values approach $1 million in the upscale community.

Windows were broken, holes were punched through walls with feet, fists and heads, kitchen cabinets, counter and appliances were wrecked as well as chandeliers and other light fixtures. The partygoers urinated on the carpets in the home, police said.
