Diana is great, though. She has a great touch and a natural instinct for cutting hair.

When the stylist turns you away from the mirror, that is the first sign of trouble! I found out the hard way. When she (Christina) was finished butchering my hair, she turned me toward the mirror, I thought it was just the way it was styled. I had just finished growing out all of my layers, only to find that she cut them back in again, but with no angle, just straight across. Barbara Ross is just as bad! Stay away!

Christina is totally amazing she has a whole new outlook on cutting hair and gave me exactly what I wanted when I didnt even know what I was looking for and it was something no other stylist I had ever been to before had ever even seen. You go Christina

i understand if she did a bad job. but the mirror isnt there for the patron to look in. its there for the stylist. so dont get scared whenever that happens.

- I respect your opinion but like I said on the other post, Christina no longer works here. I have kept the stylists that people are the most fond of and got rid of any stylists that have caused trouble. My business has been around for 30 years now. So I continuously try to keep the hair dressers the customers prefer.

I am never one to say ugly things, least of all online. I have been bothered for a little while following my experience at the salon and just had to get this off of my chest.
The stylist quite simply did not give me the cut I'd asked for. Usually when I get my hair cut, I say what I would like and that has been what I've gotten. The correct style would have made up for the unfriendly service.
I should have asked her to try again, but it is not in my nature to do so. I was so uncomfortable but smiled and thanked her nonetheless.
My suggestion is this (perhaps at your next staff meeting): Listen to the client and make sure you're giving him or her what they ask for. Ask your clients nicely to turn their heads in a direction (for example); do not hold the blow dryer for too long in one spot, etc.
I hope this helps a future client's experience.
Thank you.

First time there took less than an hour and was very please. The second and last time there, at two hours I walk out without a haircut. I was left under the lamps while someone else's hair was cut for over 20 minutes. When I emerged, I was beyond blonde. 8 minutes is all My hair needs. The young shampooist who put toner on didn't know what she was doing. One side of my hair is blonder than the other. I would not recommend this place to anyone.
