In one word "do-gooders" Don't these politicians have anything else to tend to than thinking of ways to spend the taxpayer's dollars???? All this "Green" stuff is very expensive.

Dave, your quote that many people came up to thank you was really your own hand patting you on your own back as so often happens with you. You ego is so unbearable, no one in your own delegation even talks to you anymore.

What a joke! How about fixing the buildings they have now. Wake up snoozeday! the county county 's buildings are still leaking from both plumbing leaks and roof leaks. The county refuses to hire or pay for parts to do preventative maintenance. This group of legislative do nothings only care about sound bites and you let them get away with it.

Believe you me, breathing the smoke outside the buildings is better than breathing the air INSIDE the buildings, which is an AIR QUALITY NIGHTMARE. The only time someone would thank Dave is when he retires.

Check out the 240 Old Country Road county building if you want to see the status of your county government. It's a disgrace.....

These green buildings will save tax payer money in the long run because they will require less heating and cooling costs and be more energy efficient.

They could start by making their existing buildings more energy efficiantt,by slowly adding solar panals, windmills on their buildings, black hot water tubing on the roofs for all the daytime employees hot water and electricty, Also sunlight can be used for lighting. Also more insulation, etc, but not building these very expensive new buildings. If they were really serious they could try this in a small existing building and document the outcome, but they really do not care. Only soundbites matter.
