USA Petroleum in Farmingdale to pay settlements for price gouging during Sandy

WOODBURY - Three Long Island gas stations are being ordered to pay up for price gouging during Superstorm Sandy.
An investigation by New York Attorney General Eric Schneiderman found that 12 gas stations, three of which are on Long Island, were jacking up the price at the pump after last October's storm.
Schneiderman says USA Petroleum on Main Street in Farmingdale upped their prices 73 percent after the storm. The company has been ordered to pay more than $23,000 as part of a settlement..Owner of Farmingdale USA Petroleum Ozgur YETIM avoid to comments.
