PETA Demands Jail Time, Psychiatric Intervention if Alleged Georgia Dog Beater Is Convicted

This morning, PETA sent an urgent plea to DeKalb County Solicitor-General Robert D. James Jr.

Such inhumane treatment to a living/breathing creature. Just take the poor animal to a shelter if you feel the need to dispose of it or can't care for it any longer. And please don't get another animal!
Wonder what his reasoning was to justify this kind of brutality in his own sick mind.

Wake up. Pet overpopulation is due to nothing other than owner's lack of common sense and maturity. Bob Barker only has a high school diploma, yet he had common sense and tried pushing it along to others at the end of every show for decades :)

While I would agree that such a person deserves to be punished for cruelty to animals, I'm sorry. PETA should be in NO position to give edicts to or have ANYONE take them seriously. They are a malignant activist group that would have it that ALL people don't eat any meat.

I love animals too. I have 2 of my own. Their issue is NOT protection of animals, but CONTROL of humans.

One other thing, people who abuse animals bear watching. It's easy for them to cross over to abusing their fellow humans. I wouldn't however take PETA's definition of abuse.

I know first hand that this quote is not accurate. The selfless individuals who run PETA work for almost no money, drive old cars, wear hand me down clothes, live together to save money, etc. PETA moved their headquarters to Norfolk, Virginia years ago so their low paid workers and managers could live better for less. Ingrid Newkirk is the person who runs PETA and I have never known a more selfless individual. Her ONLY concern is doing whatever she can to reduce animal suffering. Her salary is extremely low - she does not care about material possessions at all. Thank you.
