where does one go or stay after or during the Irish Festival for food, lodging, and entertainment with all the pubs like Furlong's etc, gone but not forgotten.I've heard the proposed Irish village is "dead".What happenned?? Oh well all good things must come to an end.Too bad I already spent my hard earned $$ on bricks etc.

The Irish village needed everyones support but neither here or in Irland did they get it. We do have motels, resorts etc. for the folks to stay at. But again we need the support of the people outside of Durham to help us. Let the resort owners and businesses know you care. Come to our Irish Festival, Grey Fox festival, Vietnam reunion, Irish Arts week, etc.

Windham is about a 25 minute drive from Durham with a few nice hotels and some B&Bs. Also check out Leeds.

Daily Horoscope for December 5

Gemini

The lively Leo Moon makes this great day for doing something sociable, Gemini. Now if it's festive as well, then so much the better. You'll enjoy mingling with friends, neighbors and loved ones, and will even get the chance to smooth over recent problems with a certain someone. It's a big effort to get on well with everyone, but it will be all the more appreciated.
