But if blondes are choosing black men as their consorts, doesn't that mean the white men there are falling short somehow?

That's a big fear too.

It just makes sense to me that a woman would be biologically disposed to choosing the physically fitter mate. There would be other attracting factors as how kind and funny he is. However, fitness and personality are all things that can be worked on, which means GA men have no one to blame but themselves if they see the racial mixing going on.

I just have no doubt that the "norm" for men there means overweight, unclean, and uncultured. However, if they at least stopped eating crap and took better care of their bodies they'd at least be able to compete when a fit-looking black man comes along.

So, it's really on the white men there. I believe places like Russia are supposed to have similar problems with the quality of their men, who are supposed to like the drink.

The money is in an account controlled by Brenda Madison, the grandmother of one of the girls that was on TV. Since she pretty much committed fraud a few year back by getting lots of government money to start a business and then closed it down a few weeks later this whole situation doesn't smell kosher.

That is the woman who just opened up a restaurant in Rochelle on the corner. The donated money bought her first case of chicken. WOW!

In 2007, Turner County High held their 1st integrated prom. Back in 1987, my class tried to do the same thing and failed. Administrators and parents fought us to the end. Sad to say, segregation still exists there. You can see it at ball games (blacks on one side of the bleachers & whites on the other), doctor's offices, and even residences (divided by the railroad tracks). Slavery mentalities still exist. It's a shame that the white people there still think black people are beneath them. But it's a bigger shame that some of the black folk accept it.

what about the black "prom" I don't think any "whites" attend it, but now we better not mention this, because that just means we are racist. Wilcox county has been my home all my life. I am very proud to say that. For anybody that doesn't think its good enough for them they should move, the county would be better off without them I'm sure. Yes there are people racist in wilcox along with every other county in the USA. both whites and blacks. This prom deal is just something for young people to draw attention with. The parents backing this in my opinion is worse than the children. If the school was holding or funding this event: then yes I could see a problem, but this isn't the case. I enjoyed my senior prom and was proud it was held the way it was. My parents nor grandparents would have gone to see me in this event if they had to listen to rap music and look at people's drawer's hanging out because of there lack of respect for others. Can anyone on here justify the fact that my grandmother should have to look at some seventeen year olds draws just to attend this event. I don't want Wilcox to change, look at how good this " CHANGE" is working out for the USA
Right..because people "droop" their pants in tuxedos..

What about the donated money? That woman in charge of it has been in trouble thru the bank for money issues before and they are trusting her with this money......lmao......there will be no money for next years prom. They need a certified accountant and require 2 people to allow this money to be spent.

If people are stupid enough to just send their money off like this out of emotion, without verifying the source, they deserve to get defrauded.

Georgians, I'd like to know what about black people at your prom that you fear the most.
1) Their rap music.
2) Their baggy pants.
3) The idea of black on blonde, thereby disturbing the pristine racial purity of the whites.
If there's anything else I left out, please feel free to mention it! Thank you for a very interesting thread.
First of all, there are some people in this world that have respect... Im from GA but our County dont have segregated proms... And at our prom they play all types of music... No matter what kind of music it is we dance and have a great time... And our black people do not come to prom with their pants sagging or baggy.. We all about having a good time and it seems to me as if you are being racist... Black people in my town dont fear me because we get along like civilized people should... Im white but who ever said we are better than blacks... No one is perfect and the only person that can judge someone is GOD... And if a black and white person want to date each other then let them... Thats their business not anyone elses... People kills me worrying about why a black person going with a white person... Mind your fucking business stupid asses smh

Did any of you know that these high school kids DID NOT GO TO THE SCHOOL and ask for prom. The parents nor the grandparents DID NOT GO TO THE SCHOOL and ask for a prom. They all chose the media to air their so called racist story in order to generate money. There are so many people out there that just want to jump on the racist bandwagon and ride. Most people in the south (all colors) are basically good people and want to work and live a good honest life. But then there are those who chose to bring us all down. Shame on You!!!!!!!!!!

This ruined my senior year and my prom. If I hadn't had already a bought a dress, I wouldn't have went all together. I was on board with the prom until it started intefereing with my life at school. When I had to go to school with the media at my neck everyday, it was awful. Then, it made us "racist" for going to the private prom. The media bribed our limo driver to hide it so that it would like he left us. It's sad thought to believe that only white people are racist. The only upside to it is that we were featured on Tosh.0.

Having two different proms is ridiculous, if those kids go to school together, they should go to prom together. Why the crap is there a white prom and a black prom? I went to high school in Ohio and I have never heard of that.
