STOP FALSE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ACCUSATIONS:
People like Denise Pohl of Downey need to be told that making FALSE ABUSE CLAIMS is WRONG!

RADAR ALERT:

Stop the Civil Rights Abuses; Prepare for Domestic Violence Awareness Month
Have you, or a person you know, ever been falsely accused of domestic violence? Targeted with a restraining order? Put in jail?

Each year over one million Americans are hit with a false or trivial accusation of partner abuse. It's now reached the point that domestic violence laws represent the largest roll-back in Americans' civil rights since the Jim Crow era!

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, and the theme is "Restore Civil Rights to the Violence Against Women Act." DV Awareness Month is our opportunity to get word out that our nation's domestic violence laws have gone too far, harming innocent citizens and diverting scarce resources away from the true victims.

We are asking each and every person who reads this Alert to participate in DV Awareness Month. You can attend one of the events sponsored by your state domestic violence coalition - see listing of coalitions at http://www.usdoj.gov/ovw/statedomestic.htm .

Or you can set up your own event, whether it's an information table at a local library, presentation to local police, press release, radio interview, or whatever!

Often times a domestic violence "victim" makes a false accusation to the police. The accused, in turn, becomes the "defendant" when formally charged with the crime. Unfortunately, police are quick to respond to the accuser's cries and far too often the accused doesn't know how to appropriately respond.

The reality of the situation is that the "victim" is the party actually breaking the law, as false reporting is a crime itself, punishable by up to four years in state prison. Additionally, there are several civil causes of action that may be filed against the accuser in this type of situation. Contacting an attorney is the best defense for someone who has been falsely accused, because the lawyer can help the defendant navigate through the court process to make sure that appropriate action is taken on behalf of the accused and against the false accuser.

Denise Pohl filed false accusations against her husband with the Downey PD and the Courts. She falsified documents under penalty of perjury.
She is a criminal who got away with FRAUD!
This kind of ABUSE must be stopped!

Yes and there are several reasons why people file false intimate partner abuse charges. Domestic violence is usually about control. That control can be physical, emotional or financial. There are domestic violence statistics that reveal that a significant number of people who reported domestic violence crimes were actually exaggerating or lying to the police in order to manipulate or control their partners.

Filing a false report allows the accuser to have the upper hand over the accused and is a way to exert power over one's partner. Sometimes the accuser brings the false charges because of jealousy or revenge. These are all defenses that a skilled attorney will investigate on behalf of the accused to ensure that the judge and/or jury not only hear the defendant's side of the story, but believe it as well.

The motivations behind Mrs. Denise Pohl's false accusations against her husband John were here fear that he would report her as a drug addict as he threatened, and take her children away. Not to mention the fact that he had been cheating on her at the end of their marriage.

Her admission of her lies and false accusations to the court and the police went unpunished.

Also, JOhn sent out a cease and desist letter to his x-wife Denise Pohl by his cousin a Family Law attorney in December of 2003, for continuously HARASSING him and his girlfriend for disparaging him around his children,

he threatened that he'd file a Restraining Order against HER if she didn't STOP and that he would get custody of the kids. John called her "psycho, CRAZY" and "drug addict" back then after the divorce and continued for two years.

Denise came to his aid when he went after his x girlfriend, she lied for him and told the courts she MADE UP ALL THE ABUSE ALLEGATIONS SHE FILED AGAINST HIM, AND THE POLICE REPORTS SHE FILED THAT HE BEAT HER UP ETC ETC ETC. She wanted him to stay away from his girlfriend and promised she'd help him if he never went back to her!

He did a pre-emptive strike. Pohl is a master at REVENGE. Don't get on his bad side, he knows how to use the law and the court to his advantage. This was all done with the help of his business partner a Convicted Felon named David L Hadjes. A criminal who helped John with is scam to get back at his x g/f but who ended up scamming John too. Now he's Bankrupt and had to move back to Downey! boo hoo!
