The scumbag politicians know they can get away with raising taxes with impunity because there is no organized opposition due to the control of the media by the same people who control the politicians.

“We pause in our round-the-clock defamation of Iran to bring you, Michael Jackson.

Our Zionist-controlled media have temporarily shifted from hysterical denunciation of Iran to pious genuflection before the altar of an androgyne.

To the extent that Iran has been demonized, Mr. Jackson is being canonized — as ‘the’ iconic American entertainer. How strange and at the same time, revelatory.”

Amazing, but I thought we all saw lots of tax increases with Gov Paterson, Ass Silver and Sen Smith at the helm.

Another excuse by this sory administration.

Do the layoffs, Tommy Boy. YOU have boosted taxes enough for your patronage, public trough feeders, personal drivers, and YOUR enormous salary increase. The people of Nassau County (those still working and not on the dole) are tapped out.

More than 30 state legislators from Long Island were re-elected just last November. Only one got bounced. The assembly and senate is safe in 2009 and everybody is up for another term in 2010. By then the dumb sheeple will pull the same levers again on their way to the soup kitchen. Last November the sheeple voted themselves an 8 BILLION dollar state tax and fee increase during the deepest recession since Granpa's day.

The dumbest voters on the planet live in New York.

All of these bums, Democrats and Republicans, in the state, including our U.S. Senators, and Congressman, have to go. People, it's time for a clean slate.
If we don't get these politicians (parasites) out of our Counties, State and Federal, were screwed. Look what has been occurring these past several months. All of salaries will be eaten up be paying for these hefty tax bills.
I bet not one of them is concerned paying their mortgage, to put food on the table, our that their savings are shrinking to enable their children to attend college our enjoy retirement.

Newsday is WRONG when they say taxes must go up unless the legislature acts. NO !. We must cut the size of government by eliminating the bloated staffs, and benefits.

Most of our taxes DO NOT go directly toward services but to pay for thousands of excess state, town, and county employees. We need thousands of layoffs, no tax increases.
