U R A Union Bitch wrote: Unions like the EBEA need to go to hell. Magistro's contract was reviewed by the new executive superintendent for Middlesex County, and the Commissioner of Education--the first contract in NJ to get such scrutiny under the new fiscal guidelines. Both commented that they found nothing unusual in the contract, and that the compensation was appropriate for the position, responsiblities and performance, and in line with pay scales around the state. I can't wait until these two state bureaucrats use the EBEA as their poster child for cutting waste! You're going to pay for your benefits like the rest of the country...and I'm going to laugh and laugh and laugh at you. American made, Union made, the best and the best workers

Of course you have to ignore the debacle caused by the auto and garment worker unions.
Thanks to their greed, American-made cars will be no more within a few years, and almost no clothing is made within our borders.
Why?
Unions.
Take the leaders out with a .308 to the brain.

overpaid wrote: people are really dumb and then cry they are broke. What a joke You're absolutely right. All these whiners complaining about paying for schools, yet they have their super-platinum cable packages and their premium-gas-guzzling SUVs and their wasteful spending. The simple fact is the dumb crybabies are merely selfish--the product of the drug-addled 1960s where it was all about them and not about bettering society. Yeah, these crybabies are worthless, selfish wastes of skin. They should be forced to live in a town where they don't have to pay for their neighborhood schools--like Camden or Newark. Then they'll see what they get for their money!

We moved from Staten Island to live in EB. We stayed in the district only for 4 years. The schools are excellent, love Memorial School and the community. Just could not afford the property taxes. Moved to Japan.

Just could not afford the property taxes. Moved to Japan. Japan: The world's most stagnant economy and the most densely populated nation on earth (makes NJ look like Alaska). Hey, if you're happy moving your family to the opposite side of the world to escape the high cost of living, all the best. But you should know that Japan's cost of living is far higher than New Jersey's, and both Osaka and Tokyo have costs of living way in excess of New York's. In other words, your claim you moved to Japan to save money is total BS. Sorry, gotta call you on it.

I have made a terrible mistake, I made my good friend Joanne Magistro the subject of ridicule when it was me, Abraham Quartin, who should be ridiculed. East Brunswick is very, very lucky to have Dr. Magistro, and I was wrong to say otherwise. See, I did forget to go to CVS for my Haldol and, well, things just got a little crazy.
So if you read where I say Joanne is overpaid and we should toss out the board of education, just forget it, OK?

How about independent proof there are too many administrators? Any link you can post? Something other than your opinion, maybe?
