Should Illegal Immigrants Get Drivers Licences?

stopped the practice of issuing
licenses to illegal aliens. They
had to notify "thousands"
of illegals they no longer
could take the test.
They shouldn't have qualified ever!

Driving is a priviledge, not a right!

You don't "give" anything to people like that except a ride back to their own home countries.

i think they should be allowed to have a license,because without it they are driving any way,by having a license they can at least better identify thenselves to the police officer.and as long they pass the test why not.bad and good drivers are evrywhere or you never hear about drunk drivers in america

As far as I know it is illegal to drive without a drivers licences so it's kind of a foolish question. If I have to go to all the trouble and expense to do it why shouldn't they as well..it's really in their own best interest because if they get pulled over they will get a ticket at the very least. Why is this even a question/ If you want to drive you get a licence!

That will NOT autamatically mean you have a drivers licence! drivers licences must be obtained at the RMV..it is a state issued licence and the President has nothing to do with it!

I would rather have all individuals at least attempt to pass a standardized test. Has anyone driven around Brockton lately? Red lights are an option as well as other rules of the road. I am not saying everyone is an illegal alien but I am saying that everyone needs some sort of test. And yes, there will be those that won't do anything and still drive. We can't seem to stop that now for citizens or anyone else. Someone else said it best, follow the law. It's simple. What does the current law say and should it be changed?

We can drive very well gringo. I'm sure that once we are legal, we will pass those dumb driving tests in no time!
