Any Rimers in Rimersburg?

My family is from around there, but moved away a couple generations ago...

Oh yes, John, you are chasing the roots as they say, and as a former resident of that area I too once engaged in the stimulating intellectual challenge of tracing the path of many Western PA families.
Here's what I found about Rimersburg. In the 1932 federal raid of the law offices of Smart, Harry, Woodcock & Poon, investigators discovered evidence that established the law firm as a mere front for illegal liquor manufacturing and homosexual child prostitution. Furthermore, they discovered that almost 100% of Rimersburg's residents were in some manner involved in one of these two activities.
Owing to the limited federal law enforcement resources of that era, no one was ever prosecuted as the residents immediately fled and set up new villages. The few innocents moved to New Jersey. Those involved in liquor established the Pennsylvania town of Sligo which today reeks of cigarettes and liquor.
The others, realizing that the gravity of their perverted crimes necessitated leaving Pennsylvania altogether, fled to the Midwest and established the Illinois hamlet of Hanover Park. It is said that to this day, most of the residents there who have Rimersburg roots are burdened with some sort of horrid affection toward children and that authorities are pursuing them by matching Internet forum activity to IP's arising from Hanover Park.

I also have been tracing the Reimer family genealogy and would like to know if there are any Rimers or Reimers in Rimersburg. I have a Shoop/Reimer connection.
