THE ones who are not narcs will not get out,but they would not have had or even thought about it if it wasn't for the narcs they let out of jail to go forth and make more meth labs, that is the only way they can save their own butt,is by setting up talking friends into doing something they wouldn't be doing if it wasn't for the narcs.the only way this will ever stop is for the law to make it legal to kill anyone who comes to you and asks for your help in matters of this kind, right now it isn't legal, but it should be.

Meth is the worst killer drug to ever be made available to our children and dont think your child doesnt get it offered to them because if they are out of your sight sooner or later somebody is gonna be doing meth in front of them. Peer pressure is a strong influence on young minds. Most young people today will try meth sooner or later. It is to popular for them not to. So with that being said and every word the truth why are we as parents sitting on our ass and letting the meth cooks keep cooking and the meth dealers keep dealing? Are we gonna give them a free pass to make and sell that poison to our children? Thats what your doing when you know its going on and you dont report it. Your giving them your blessing to make and sell drugs to your kids that you know will destroy their life once it gets hold of them. Its a choice we all have to make but I sure dont want my kids doing that crap and Im going to do all I can to stop it. I really wish the rest of the parents around here would do the same. The way I see it if you love your children and want to see them stay healthy and prosper you cant send them a message that doing drugs is OK.

Meth is a problem affecting more States now than even crack cocaine.. With crack we are now heading into 10th generation + user's... and their children' children will most likely use. Meth is the same heading into 4th generation users ...sometimes more. It's a problem that most states can not contain due to the above mentioned reasons.. especially allowing the narcs out on the streets to entice more people into making it. There should be no.. "If You let me go I'll give You more people to arrest or bigger fish than me" advantages. How do we solve the problem when we add to the problem by doing so? It is sad to come home and see the devastation to My home town by such evil as Meth. This is a drug that kills so many and affects so many more. Until the laws and the punishments are changed to make people truly think twice before doing it or making it the problem will continue to grow.

What can we as parents do to help stop it? If the ingredients were taken off the market, how could they make it?

Unlike other drugs such as cocaine and heroin, meths can be made out of so many things that it is impossible to take all of these off the shelves. The only way to stop meth will be to make the consequences a lot more severe than they are now and make it to where if You are arrested for manufacturing, suspicion of,possession of,possession of pre cursers, and dealing meth... that there is no way you will be getting out of jail.. there should be no three strikes or playing "Let's make a deal" You should get the maximum sentence possible and remain in jail. Spend long enough time in jail/prison I'm sure it will make someone think twice. Also.. our borders to Mexico should be more heavily watched for the transport in of this drug. A lot of methamphetamine/Ice/Glass/Crys tal is made there and transported here.. Other West Coast States.. such as California and Nevada are also big manufacturers and distributors of this drug. This is a drug that I'm not sure can be contained as it's manufacturing/distributing and usage has climbed over the past 25 years and continues to do so on a daily basis. This is a drug that was created by German Scientists and Chemists for Adolph Hitler's use in his military to make a stronger more effective soldier. What we now are stuck with is a drug that is destroying many peoples lives and is taking lives.

I'm not sure even punishment will stop them. I think drugs make people go some place that they can't return from. They can see that it makes them be old way before their time and that doesn't stop them. They see people go to jail, blow themselves up, let their babies breathe it and see their friends die.
I think the only way to stop it is teach them from birth. The ones that are making it and selling it should be sent to an island somewhere without a way back. They should also have to live off the wild. Why should we as tax payers provide them a warm bed to sleep in and three hot meals a day. Prison isn't bad enough to deter the behavior either.

I agree with you.Once a person gets on drugs they are never the same.It changes everything about them. They are hollow.Nothing means as much to them as the drugs nor will it ever again. The person you knew is gone forever. It takes over everything. Some get better but I have to see anyone healed and restored. So sad

YOU are correct, but how many parents want their kids to smoke drive while drinking,or even drinking?the more you harp on how bad something is for a child, the more that child will be determined to do it,if nothing else just to show they are independant, same goes where scummy friends are involved the more we point out their friends are scum the more important they become to them.if you have someone in the family [like an aunt ,uncle, they like they might listen to them unless they suspect, mom and dad put them up to it.but don't for a minute think you can tell a child all the bad things out there and ,like nagic]they are gonna listen to you.when they grow up they will wish they had listened but preaching to them only makes them want to do it more whe they are kids.

I know someone that has quit and is working on their 5th year without it. It was one of the hardest fought battles , the first year being the toughest for them. But they have managed to do it. It meant turning away from a lot of people, but in the end it turned out to be worth it. They made it out with minimal damage to their bodies and their looks. I know that they are truly thankful for every single day that goes by now that they have a true life in front of them.
It can be done, but from viewing their battle it wasn't easy. And although the desire to quit was there the call of the drug was really hard to ignore. But they did it. I'm certain that people can manage to do it but they have to want it badly in order to succeed.
