Judged: 5 5 4 some of the people that complain was raised up on foodstamps themselfes and most of there families get ssi & foodstamps that is what makws me sick is too hear them complain when i know they lived in poverty and got foodstamps growing up and anything else out there free to get. I know a lady who complains always about this and i know for a fact that she was raised up on foodstamps and most of her family (close relatives) still all get SSI & Foodstamps. |

Judged: 4 3 2 A child has no responsibility for being raised by parents on ssi or foodstamps. Be thankful some are actually making an honest living when they are an adult instead of continuing the cycle. |

Judged: 2 1 1 That is the problem with the system. The people who actually need it can't get it. The dead beats take all of the money to support their worthless existence. I especially love the piles of refuse that go through the express lane with two shopping carts of stuff. I don’t have a problem with safety nets, but I do with safety hammocks. That is what our state and federal government have created. The day is coming when Atlas will shrug, then I can't wait to see what will happen to all the dead beats. |

Judged: 2 Me to.Its sad to see people in need and all the money thats wasted in big government and foreign aid, etc. This country should help its own before it gives billions to others.By next year many more will need assistance because a lot more places will be closing and the drought will cause food prices to soar even more. |

Judged: 4 2 2 Its not the poor people who are getting food stamps and welfare that we should be worried about. Its the corporations that are bringing record profits and then they get a huge tax REFUND! Why people choose to pick on the poor for getting a little money when the rich are getting a hell of a lot more is baffling to me! |

Judged: 2 2 2 Because it makes them feel better to put down their own kind. They made a little money and they want to forget where they came from and how they got it.Putting down the people that are like they were makes them feel more successful especially if its their own family members. They have no money compared to the real rich.A few hundred grand is not a lot of money in todays world. So they can only look down on the poor to feel successful because they cant play in the same ball game with the real rich. I love watching the ones that grew up with nothing and was raised on welfare and food stamps and Medicaid turn into jackasses after they suck the system and finally get a few dollars more than they ever had. They all of a sudden become wealthy and feel obligated to stomp the very system that allowed them to accumulate and move ahead to better things.Had they struggled and paid their way as they should have they would be broke like most the people here.A few did get where they are with little help but the majority took and took and cheated the system for years first. Once the system collapses and it will at some point they will be back in the same boat with the poor.Wont be much longer. |

Judged: 3 2 2 Why would they care about the small in comparison amount stolen from these programs.Look at all thats been exposed lately in the big government corruption to the tune of billions and nothing but a slap on the wrist if they even got that. The stock market is a joke and a few are racking in millions while the people that worked hard for their money to invest is being wiped out. The big banking system is a disgrace and not so much as jail time for any one. Most rewarded with huge bonuses for stealing. But yet no one ever starts a topic being upset with anyone but the poor. The poor remind these people of what they were and they dont want to be reminded so in their minds if they can bash them constantly it makes them forget they ever sucked from the system. Every time you see a topic like this you can bet they were either raised using these programs or their family is using them and they need to try and make others feel worse so they can overlook their improper tax deductions or what their mother got help with as they grew up etc etc. We would never see this topic on here if not for those few because most in this area have to get some type of help just to make ends meet. |

Judged: 1 1 1 Actually there are some of us who work, and come from families who work. My family has never taken government assistance. I put myself through college while working, and did it without one dime of government money. We are simply sick of carrying the lazy on our backs. The vast majority of welfare recipients in this area are simply lazy. They are second and third generation cradle to grave leeches. Those people use welfare as a way of life, not as something to help them through a rough patch. They don’t even try to better themselves or their children. The government can’t make money, they simply take it from those of us who do, and give it to those who don’t work. If someone comes from a poor family and betters themselves that should be admired not condemned. If you had ever worked for anything, you might understand why you want to keep what you make, and not be forced to support those who won’t even try. |

Judged: 2 1 I agree, anyone that can write a 100 word sentence without a comma or period, can barely write or read. Pretty sure they are just trouble makers and more than likely receive SSI, foodstamps, cheat on their taxes and get anything else that is free. |

Judged: 2 2 2 Look azzhole I see you skipped my other post and picked the one you could scrounge through like the typical complainer on here. My post just above the one you quoted stated :.A few did get where they are with little help but the majority took and took and cheated the system for years first.: You completely ignored that so you could find a way to try and discredit my posts.Regardless of what you want to witch about truth be known most the complainers took plenty of handouts before getting ahead. As far as my work history you are just as informed about that too aren't you.How in he11 do you know what I did or didn't do.Just because I post an opinion you feel its your right to assume and pass judgement on me knowing nothing about me at all. I have worked all my life witch so based on that alone your whole post is just about as right as your judgment of me is.Why dont you just say you are a hater of everyone that's not stuck up pretend to be something they arent people. |

Judged: 2 2 2 sick of carrying the lazy on your back huh okay get into action and start here. This is beyond shameful when we have veterans living homeless and you are worried about what the poor around here get http://video.msnbc.msn.com/nightly-news/47729... call up the prez and tell him you could save 140 million dollars per year of your tax money on that little deal alone.after you do that then get back to us |

I don’t need me to discredit you; you’re doing a good job of that on your own. Most people on welfare want to be taken care of, and are not willing to help themselves. People who work do not enjoy being forced to support those who do. The best way to help poor people is to teach them the skills to better themselves, not to take care of from the time they are born until the time that they die. Sometimes people need help, and I have no problem with that. It is not ok to set on your butt and let other people take care of you from the time you enter this world until the time that you leave it. If having a job and being tired of supporting people who are too lazy to breathe, makes me stuck up, then I am happy to say that I am. There is a difference between the people who lost their job, or had some financial trouble of some kind and need some help, and the ones who are just lazy. The people who really need help can’t get it because of all the dead beats. The majority of welfare recipients are cheating the taxpayers. They pop out a kid every nine months so they can get more money. If they can’t take care of themselves, why do they keep having kids? All they are doing is increasing the burden on the taxpayers. Some people got rich by cheating. Most got rich by working hard and making good decisions. The government can’t tax people into being equal. Some people will always work harder than other, have better ideas, or make better decisions. If it makes you feel good about yourself to support dead beats, then more power to you. Since the government isn’t doing enough, go to Wal-Mart, find the first food stamp recipient you see and give them half your money that might make you feel better. Since you felt ignored, back to your first post. It’s not putting someone down if it is true. Most people who work are tired of supporting the welfare crowd. I suspect the person that started the thread feels like me, and most of the working class people in the United States. We are tired of working to try to have nice things, and have some drugged up moron run over us on our way to work. While we are at work, they break into our homes, and take what we spend our hard earned money on. They somehow feel entitled to anything they want because they want it. It’s not fair that we don’t want to share. Somehow we are selfish for wanting to keep what we earn. I am not rich, and don’t claim to be. I hope to be very rich someday. I admire the people who learned from their mistakes and became a great success. They should serve as examples to all of us to try and better ourselves. If one person can go from being homeless to being a millionaire, why can’t others? Everyone who tries won’t become rich. Success is not guaranteed, but we always have options to improve ourselves. If someone chooses not to, then it is their own fault. The eminent collapse that you seem to be looking forward to is caused by our welfare class. |
