Arrest in the Death Investigation in Laurel County

On Saturday, October 24, 2009, an autopsy was performed by the State Medical Examiner's Office with the cause of death being ruled as Homicide.

i think that if you are guilty in beating and killing children then i think that you should be put out in front of the court house and i think that you should be put to death by the people the same way that the children are done but i think that it should be even worse than what they have done to the children if people does not what these children let someone else have them that can and will be a better parent to them

everyone on here is so judgemental of everyone a couple days ago you'all was ready to say the boyfriend done it, maybe she didn't do it maybe it was just a tragic accident. but even she did do it she deserves a fair trial

i agree with nooneknowforsur e i wonder if the baby might have fell across something and hit his stomach or if the dad might have done something because he is so eager to lay blame to the both of them ( mom and boyfriend)

I am the child's great grandmother, I live in Spring Valley,Ca. I thought God was the only one that could sit in judgement,what are you people doing; you're pointing the finger at anyone you can. You know what I think would be a good idea,why don't you all let the police do their job? Let the people who loved this little boy grieve. Thank You!!!!!!!!!!

Granny you know what I am sorry for your loss. Us people have the right to speak for this small little baby boy who has never been able to speak for himself. According to the paper, this baby's mother had her first child taken away because of abuse. The second was taken away at birth. She moved here from Michigan, so that her third baby wouldn't be taken away, and he ended up being killed. So you tell me Granny, how are we supposed to take that? I'm not judging anyone, I'm simply stating the facts. Unfortunately the truth hurts sometimes. God will make sure that this baby's mother and anyone else who knew about the abuse will suffer the consequences of what they have done, one way or another.

I dont know if any of you have ever read our Counties laws and the currant laws we have on the books in Laurel Co. allow our officials to construct a gallos for criminals to be hung to death, on the courthouse yard.
I think it is time we construct a gallos, for all the child abusers, murderers, and drug pushers and the thieves and once they are found guilty, instead of incarcerating them and then turning them out just to be repeat offenders later. When found guilty. Just Hang em. Hang em High, on the front of the courthouse lawn. I certify that if our county courts practiced this which if it is on the books I am sure they could. There would be a whole lot of people not do a lot of what their being allowed to do. Wasting our money, that can help those who really need it. And I am not talking about handing it to the welfare recipients either they get enough without trying...( another discussion all together.)
Think of the time and money we would save and the lives that would be spared and the children/people that would be better off without these people in our society.
Shame on the agencies for allowing people to continue to have children knowing they have them just for their own sick pleasure of torture. Shame on the families that know these children are at risk and do nothing to stop the cycle. Only because more than likely it started with the sins of the family. Its a generational curse handed down from generation to generation.
Imagine, your child, begging and pleading to stop being hurt, and no one cares enough to stop it.
The value of a child has tremendously fallen since someone decided that an embryo was just a growth, not a viable person.(Rowe vs Wade)
Even at that young stage of life it has a heart.

SHE didn't lose her other 2 kids by herself... THEY lost those kids. And they were kids themselves. But how come no one ever questions about the biological fathers part in the prior abuse and possibly his part in this incident?? I don't get it?? He was with the child still 7-8 PM Thursday night (along with other people too Thursday) and he died early morning Friday... it's possible that baby bled out over the course of the night. Why is that so hard for everyone to take into consideration??

I wouldn't even bother coming on here and reading this crap. You know most cities barely have any posting on topix - just a few a month. But here in London all people have do with their time is run their mouths with fake names behind a computer screen. It's actually quite pathetic. I hope that justice is done for little Stephen and all of us that knew him and Amanda want that. My prayers are with you and all that loved that little boy.

I think there is something supicious about this whole thing the mother, the father, and the boyfriend, maybe their all quilty. Just Think about it, these people came to our town and killed this precious baby. We have the right to stand up for what goes on in our town. Even if the mother didn't do it this time, the odds are against her ,because of her past.

London has always been the worst place in the world for people to gossip always wondering what others have , how they got it and if there house is clean inside or not .Some of the ones that talk dont have diddly themselfes any better than the person there talking about .I have never been to any other place in my life where people act like some of the ones around here.
