Get better soon. Then wear your damn helmet. And if that 16 year-old girl was taliking on a cell phone (most of 'em do while friving it seems) take the phone away and sew up her lips. Or cut off her thumbs if she was , God forbid, texting while driving.

Until they start giving severe punishment for drivers running down bikers, this will continue to happen. You can bet this girl was not focused on driving.I bet she was f'ng texting. What is it about young people that have to be connected to some device 24/7? They have no concept of live and death when they drive.I think this generation is the stupidest, unaware, clueless, thi s country has ever produced.Put down the gadgets and get a life. You do not have to tell Buffy and Sissy what is going on in your facinating life at every minute.

If she was 16 you figure she had to have her permit for 6 monthes so she couldnt have her license more than 6 monthes! Shame.

Its true. The Northern Regional Police primarily give out costly traffic tickets. They do this in order to generate lots of $$$ revenue for the state and the municipality that hired them. But they do not give out tickets to their own, of course. Even when charges of reckless driving or following too closely are clearly warranted. I guess its better to give and give and give but never receive.

let it be known that there are many accidents at this location due to various reasons. There is a very bad area to pull out at, which makes it hard to see traffic coming from east berlin. If you are not familiar with the area it can be dangerous. Also, if you ride a motorcycle, wear a damn helmet, it's that easy. And don't start throwing blame around to you have the facts, accidents do sometimes happen. And let the police alone.

Isn't this the intersection where 3
teenage boys were killed a few years
ago? As I recall, visible is quite
limited in this area. I remember
blind intersections at the crest of
a small knoll.

Matters not in the least! There are millions upon millions of these most DANGEROUS or just PLAIN intersections throughout the county/state/USA/world. The key is "DEFENSIVE DRIVING/RIDING", with or without a helmet/seatbelt/cellphone/blac kberry/orangeberry/ lipstick/shaving/goggling/coff ee between legs. Wake up or smell the asphalt! As per fault, you may be "dead right", nevertheless, you are still deader than a frickin''door nail'! Need four (4) eyes in your head; pointing N/S/E/W. Other than that, happy motoring!

I agree with your post 100%, allow me to add that there are a fair share of middle aged mental midgets doing the same crap. I'm on the road all week for work and have come to the conclusion I hate the roads.

Also used to like riding motorcycle. made a decision this years it's getting sold.

Too many idiots on the roads for a bike ride.

No helmet.....shocker! All the Harley bikers say "its our choice to wear a helmet." Yeah, then it should be our choice whether or not to clean up your splattered brians on the road.

Well at least THEY have "BRIANS" (is that your son's name) to clean up! Sure as hell will be nothing to "clean up", most especially, "BRAINS", should you ever be involved in an accident. Wishing a speedy and complete recovery to Mr. Brown!

Now that the weather is getting nice there are going to be lots of bikes out on the road. People in cars need to pay attention and get their heads out of their ass while they are driving. Prayers for the guy on the bike and I really hope that if this 16 year old is found to be responsible, they take her license for awhile.

It is also a shame that you can not properly express your thoughts. I believe that you were trying to say that the other person did not know how to pluralize the word "month" not the word "monthS" which is already pluralized.
If you are going to make fun of others, make sure your post is correct first.

I must respectfully disagree with you. I always keep my "head up my a$$" when driving/riding in/on a car/truck/cycle, as I never wear a helmet! Now that's real protection from idiot drivers such as you! Only time I wear a helmet is when in bed, rammin' away, in case I should inadvertently crash into the headboard! Be very careful on that karma business on one losing their license.

Bikers need to get their heads covered with a helmet to help survive accidents.
