East Berlin to review legality of donation policy

Seven community organizations will not be getting donated funds from East Berlin Borough this month.

Hmm! Withholding money from children & the elderly, the ones who built the foundation for what could be a nice town & the ones we will expect to keep it nice. Yea that's a good idea !

This is a legal issue that council is wise to check out before sending any private group money. There are various laws, such as the borough code, that govern what they can and cannot do financially. Best to be safe than sorry.

What a truly paranoid bunch these guys are. DARE? Transit for the old folks? Youth Baseball? Looks evenhanded to me. Look at the small sums. Tokens to show love of community and point of view. Guess we know what the point of view is now. CYA.
