I see in the Newspaper today that they are cracking down on the "Demolition Derby" cars that are filling up the back yards in East Bangor. When in the world are they going to enforce the "Junk Piles" and other debris, amongst old beat up vehicles and non-registered vehicles that are cluttering up our back yards? Some / Most of us bust our arses to keep our landscaping well maintained and pay our taxes as homeowners and have to walk out our front/back doors to look at the neighbors cluttered back yards. Household furniture clutters some of the front porches. C'mon even Bangor has ordinances against the furniture on front porches! As well as grown weeds and tall grass. Isn't there a 1' ordinance against this? Where are our tax dollars going in East Bangor? Do we need to enforce this with our board directors and police department? Let's get our borough CLEANED UP! Once and for all. Please, that's all we ask as hard working tax payers.

I really would like to see some other comments and opinions on this matter. This is to be of no offense to the judicial system nor directed at any specific person(s). Just simply pleading to have our borough cleaned up. Thank you.

Apparently no one in the borough or of our council has anything to add to this. It's really a shame. Drive up North Broad Street and see the broken fences and the junk yards hidden behind them. This is really a disgrace to the tax payers that must suffer from the ungodly sights of this rubbish. Drive down West and East Central Avenues. Look behind the homes at the junk. Non-registerd & uninspected vehicles that are rotting away on our lands. Shame! Shame!

I hope you check back. do you live in the area? hope so if you are commenting about East Bangor. I have been raised in East Bangor most of my life. I own one of the home that needs to be cleaned up. I enherited the house from my father. Two years later, 16 tons of scrap metal and about 5 10 yard dumpsters I still have more to go. My wife and i have been doing 99.9% of the work. But as I've tried to clean up I've had some problems with the neibors. Just so you know, one of the other homes that's in need of help belongs to a council member. What are "we" going to do to encourage other to clean up? "We" need more than just ordinence.
