Traffic safety board investigating crash

The National Highway Safety Traffic Administration has begun an investigation into a fatal ambulance crash last week on West Road, according to local police.

If the case does not involve medical problem. maybe the one on the wheel might have sleep while driving especially if the case happened between midnight to morning (time of incident was not mentioned). or maybe the one on the wheel is exhousted and have been working the whole day without rest. there are many/lots of reasons that we can formulate. lots of contributing factors that can involve incident like this... I myself have experience once when I got a successive of overtime in a week.. I experience sleeping on the wheel in a split of a second( Iam thankfull nothing happen because we are just moving priority 2) and hit the gutter of the road... seconds of unattentive driving can mean a lot of damage to the entire crew of the ambulance especially if your moving priority 1. That is why when I am fatigue, tired, luck of sleep, exhausted and not in the good mood to work, I refrain myself from going to work and instead file a sick leave.

Maybe if Hoosick Falls would get a competent rescue squad the Bennington one wouldn't have to go down there umpteen times a day!
