T-500 is about empty. Olin is only a shell of itself now. Olin did wrong with the employees and the employees did wrong with Olin. If they would have just voted in that contract a couple of years ago and taken some concessions Olin would have not started moving anything till 2016. Olin did wrong by going to a right to work state where they will not have union employees. At least not for a couple of years. But that plant in missisippi will be union soon enough. Low wages, crappy benefits and the employees will form a union. Then I guess Olin will look for another right to work state to move to. But all of this could have been avoided if the employees would have just took some cutbacks and been happy they still had a job. I work at a union plant and we had a strike and was locked out for 6 months. In the end we took concessions and were happy to go back and still have a job. Lesson- Unions can not beat big buisnesses anymore. Just have to suck it up or face the realization of your job moving.
