Dislikes of our own race

The question is, what do you people dislike of your own race? Mine is: Most drug dealers, killers, etc are black, I always watch the news and 90% of the bad people caught are Black, I hate it because it make the rest of us look really bad!! now tell me, what are your dislikes about your own race? note: don't be racist and don't offend anyone, we talking about our own race

I heard the comic Chris Rock say something really funny about this once. He said if you're a black person watching the evening news and you hear about someone robbing a convenience store, you pray "don't let it be a black dude, don't let it be a black dude", but if you're watching the news where someone has killed and eaten their parents, you don't have to worry about it because you know it's gonna be a white dude.

Seems like most of the people buying from the dealers are white.I hate what they are doing to their families.A child should never have to see their parent high.

You may be right, black is doing wrong by selling drugs and white is doing wrong as well because they buy it....

As a whit male, I hate how whites feel guilty for things that happened years ago. I was never a slave owner or white supremacist, why should I feel guilty for what those goofs did?

Well, I'm no racist, or white supremacist, by any means. I don't believe any one race superior to another. But I don't like being pressured, even by my own race of other whites to lay down my religious convictions of not intermingling the races, and being labeled as a racist or biggot for that. It's not a racial issue, but religious, which, according to the Constitution, I am full well intitled to. Heck, even Oprah Winfrey said out of her own mouth the same thing on her own TV show about herself. But if I do, I'm a racist or biggot for it, but it's ok for her to say that and believe that way also.
I've worked with people from all over the world of every race and creed, and have no problem with any of them, UNTIL, They, display signs of racism towards me in accusing me of being a racist because I'm WHITE, or because of slavery's history here and my religious convictions.
Historical evidence, shows the native Americans were slaves here before the Blacks were brought here from Africa as slaves, and other whites, namely the Scottish and Irish, were also brought here for slavery into those same plantations as blacks, and also in the Industrial Revolution in mills and plants in the North, and were treated just as badly as the blacks were. So why am I labeled as a racist or biggot, for my religious convictions, even by my own people?

PC is BS as we all know that you cannot possibly please them all.

In trying to please them all, they discriminate against the majority to please the minority.

It is part of the problem and has contributed to a great deal of the fragmentation and division of the people in this country.

well in my ooinion the black race as a whole/75%\ have created a racial monster here in america. if your white you cant get on welfare...if your black you cant get work....if your white you cant get the job you applied for if a minority has applied for the same job...its all racsist. yip the blacks deal drugs/ whites buy em. most blacks ive known wont work...fact... mexicans wont legally apply for citizenship...america is on its way down if we dont wake up.

Very true!

I'm no politician, therefore I should have no need to be politicaly correct.

I don't hate people of any other race, and our own white supremacists, and the neonazi's, and the stigma of the past KKK, have left a black eye on all of us white people, and I hate that part of my own race.

I've worked with races from all over the world thru the years. I've met some from every race and nation, who all have a few that think themselves superior to others, and some who are racist towards one race or another for whatever reasons. I've also met some from every race who were good people.

For me, it's only a religious belief to keep the races seperated. God did it twice thru the Bible. First time at the tower of Babel when all the races came together (like they are now trying to do), and became so arrogant in their thinking that they thought they could get to Heaven without God. That was the Tower they were all building together. He did it again after that, because the people were found trying to override God again, like now again with the passing of certain laws, and Sodom and Gomorah were destroyed for that.
So what it comes down to, is my religious beliefs, shouldn't be twisted into me being some sort of racist or biggot. But in this day and time, anyone who believes the Bible, is not PC, or is condemned by some as a racist or biggot, when we're not.

But it's MY Constitutional Right to believe God (Freedom of Religion), that is now being trampled over by all this PC hogwash.

Right!! Not saying any one single race is any better than any other, just that we are supposed to stay seperated. We were after all, seperated for a specific reason. Twice.:-)

What I dislike about my race is that:

We thrive on the failures of others for own benifits.
We tend to be selfish and manipulative.
When we don't see eye to eye on situations, we become hostile creatures.
We speak badly of anything thats different from ourselves, even sometimes rejecting the new. Even if turns out to be the best.
We are violent and destructive. Some times destroying more than we create.
Instead of a multi-view, we have one set standard. That set standard dictates what others just like us has to follow. Starting from appearance, down to our personal beliefs.

I should stop myself before I get carried away. The race I was reffering to was no specific color, or nationality. It was humankind in general. If you ask me, whenever I see horrid things on the news that one has done to another. It all makes us look bad...

We have so much to learn, yet we won't take the time to.

tom tom you speak the truth,the way it is. we humans have certain inate things which are genetically imposed. among those are a human desire to be better than the next...there begins the problem. in sports,jobs,house building,grocery stores.....you name it and the competitive nature is there, its just that its sometimes much more apparant with racism. we all need to learn love. those four letters would help a lot of our problems if we employed it.
