Dissatisfied Resident

Hot and BORING! Expensive. Main St has no shade. Couldn't turn a corner to look around without tape and signs requiring you to pay more money. Vendors? There were like three. The rest of the booths were sponsors with business cards. Where's the fun in that? Seven rides. Asphalt. Direct sun. Food was NOT any more special than before. Bojangles is harvest to table? I think not. The addition of beer and wine can't come close to saving this "festival". Crafts, music, food, rides and wine in the shaded park would be much more comfortable. Seems like all the "changes" were not done for the enjoyment of residents as much as for profit for the city planners. Most downtown shops were still closed. A handful were open. I still don't get it. Why'd the move from city park? Not all changed are "progress". They need to go back to the drawing board......
None of the above

Well Dissatisfied Resident, welcome to "Simpleville."
Want to park your car? Get out your money.
Want to do something? Get out your money.
Want to eat? Get out your money.
Go to the park? Get out your money.
Profit for the city planners? You betcha!

The past few years this "pimple" of a town has become the greediest area of G'ville Co. I have known several
businesses that have been gone under because of the
thousands of dollars Simpsonville charges them.
Sign out front? That's $2500 a year. Park your car out front? Parking permits required. That'll be $350 per month,PER CAR! Are you going to advertise? Permit will cost you $1500 per year. This doesn't include all the additional taxes and fees you have to pay either.

Hot? 99 degrees at 99% humidity can't be that bad is it?
Whatever event is happening in this suck-hole of a town, you can bet there won't be any residents there, they know better...so why don't you?
