Is there a special "conference" being held anywhere over the course of a weekend at which a group plans to sell or promote this particular film? If there is, then we can have a real and substantial conversation.
If not, then no, the mere availability of opposing material for a fee says nothing.
It says it's all about the money. Glad I could help.

I don't care if you're gay. I'm indifferent. When it comes to marriage I strongly support traditional man/woman marriage. To me, gay marriage makes no sense, never will.
Which is precisely what qualifies you as just another anti-gay.

If someone said to me, you have a choice of being gay or straight, I'd definitely opt for straight. I am anti-gay.

Then don't marry a same sex partner. Makes sense to me.

The original marriages were for power or property and often the spouses never met till their marriage day, despite being bound to one another since birth. How romantic. The hearts and flowers lacy marriages we know today only got popular in Victorian times, a little over a hundred years. Before that, it was strictly business. NOT the lovey dovey matches of magazines and TV shows.

In other days, the establishment made marrying out of your race a crime. Still today many parents object to someone marrying out of his or her race or religion. Does that make sense to you?

So then what's your problem with polygamy?
A guy marrying his car?
A girl marrying her cat?

Don't be so stupid as to say there are laws against those.

You have a choice of being a sphincter by continuing to post on Topix or being a nice guy and leaving, never to return again.

Now there's a choice for you. I suspect we'll find out soon enough whether you're anti-sphincter or not, and my guess is you aren't.

Glad I could help.

Neither a car nor cat is able to sign a contract or give consent. Even my cats who are MENSA of cats, they have no idea what the fuss about marriage is all about and show their lack of interest by napping all day.

Polygamy? Who said I had a problem with it? I don't care. Whatever floats someone's boat. It makes NO difference to me who or how many heads rest on some ELSE'S pillow at night. I am only interested in what goes on in my house. I wonder why you are so fascinated what goes on in mine?

GOOD! You'd be a HORRIBLE member of the club. I can see you now showing up for Sunday brunch, white shoes and belt, poly shirt, hair all full of Brylcream, stinking of High Karate After shave, bringing a bag of Cheetos for the table, parking your Ford Escort on the street to avoid valet, ONLY paying your exact amount and ignoring tax and tip, then urging everyone to go home and catch "the game" when we really want to stroll Old Town Arts district. Yeah, stay straight, please!

And there are certain actors, and other people in showbusiness, whom I will not pay to see because of their politics. He's obviously one of them.
Alec converted to Orthodoxy and is now a posterchild, literally, for Russian anti-gay propaganda.

Don't care for Alec OR Stephen. The only one of the Baldwin brothers I think is decent is Billy.

They toss that polygamy around like kids with a Frisbee. I never quite GET what they want me to say about it. I do not care. Yet, they run with it like a kid who got a star on his paper. "look, look, look, look what I got!" I know how the mom feels when she must post it on her refrigerator, and she must feel the way I do when confronted about the silly polygamy question.

I still recall my cut out of George Washington that blew out of the bus window when I was about 7 or 8. I was so distraught, I begged my poor parents to drive over to the approximate area to find it, but alas, gone. That led to a weepy drive home, but if I recall, my mom gave me spring noodles and cottage cheese to cheer me up. That is STILL one of my favorite dishes to this day. I wonder how tired my dad was when I had him driving all over Redondo Beach, looking for a cheesy cut out of George Washington! In a way, it is a rather sweet story.

Those are just laws that can be changed, just like marriage laws are being changed for gays. If a man married his car what harm would that cause you? If a woman married her cat what harm would that cause you? Unless it made the national news you wouldn't even know about it. Cats are dependents, you just can't claim them as a deduction.

I think that Alec did a fine "Jack Ryan" int "The Hunt for Red October".

Now I can't stand to watch him knowing what that he's putting his money, time, and celebrity into harming us.

snyper, you have your Baldwins mixed up. Alec, the most successful one, supports us. Stephen, the least successful and worst looking one (and the one who's done way too many drugs over the years), is against us.

Um.... there IS something wrong with polygamy.
