A local landscaper, down to earth of the upstate, Dan and Nancy Davis owners, left our yard looking like the pictures below. We offered to pay him for the materials which we received a receipt from the company that the stone and dirt came to $1,346. But, were not going to pay for the poor workmanship. Unsupervised men he left to do the job either. The pictures you are about to see are of a 10 foot drop off of a embankment, there are 75-100 stone blocks weighing 77lbs a piece. The wall was supposed to be 5 foot and he chose not to use geo-grid per his insurance company that he said denied his claim. We gave him $7,800 as a deposit for the work and they have stopped answering our calls and emails for our refund minus the cost of the stone and dirt. We have all receipts, his 1st estimates, email conversations, about 10-15 pictures of during work and after it fell and videos. If you need them as proof. One of the main reasons I reached out to you is because we had a local attorney tell us that the licensed landscaper knew that this was insufficient work ethics and still followed through with it, if my children or other family would have been outside enjoying the new wall, then the wall fell, after a 10 ft drop, 77lbs of stone rolling with them, someone could have gotten seriously hurt or killed. We need to make others aware of his work ethics. He also did not rent a port-a-potty and my 8 year old daughter and I witnessed one of his workers expose himself in our backyard to urinate. Thank you.
