Something needs to be done to make these landlords take better care of their rental property.Landlords are charging high rental prices for homes that are in dire need of fixing.If the tenant complains they get evicted.Now if tenant doesn't pay they rent the landlord has the law on their side.The tenant has no one when they do pay their rent but landlord doesn't want to fix whats wrong.I think all rental property should be inspected every 6 months.Some will say well just move. Thats ok if you can afford to and most landlords have got this way.They should be held liable for renting dangerous homes.I myself know of a lot of places like this just in Easley.So if you don't want to be called a slum lord then fix whats wrong when your tenat calls or if you know it yourself then fix it before you rent it.
