Father wants charges after road rage incident
The father of a Lincoln County teen says he is pressing for charges after a man allegedly pulled a gun in an eastern Missouri high school parking lot following a road rage incident. via KMOV-TV Saint Louis

It bothers me that the Lincoln County prosecutor is worried about whether he can win this case or not. It seems clear to me that the adult wasn't acting in self-defense if he FOLLOWED the student to the school parking lot and continued arguing with him. If you are defending yourself, don't you usually try to get away from the person who is threatening you? Further, this is a 36-year old man versus a high school student. Who is supposed to be the mature person here? What would have happened to other students on that parking lot if the argument had escalated into a gun battle? I can't believe some type of charges couldn't be filed in this case. How about trespassing charges from the school? Disorderly conduct? Peace disturbance? Endangering the welfare of a child?
