The Village of Earlville's Water

Recently I was reading a article on Earlville's ground breaking for the new water project. I saw that the village unanimously passed a vote that all water bills must be paid within 90 days after receiving the bill or their water will be shut-off.
As a resident of the village of Earlville for ten years now, I, as well as many other residents, have found the water quality unfit for consumption as well as periodically ruining laundry due to the rustiness. The proposal for water shut-off due, to unpaid water bills, needs to be voted on by the people of Earlville and let their voices be heard. Why should we pay for water that is not drinkable and ruins our clothes? Maybe the town should reimburse the residents for having to purchase new garments and bottled water. I say that outstanding bills should be dismissed until the new project is complete. Come on residents, voice your opinions.

I can't believe they are evening thinking of shutting peoples water off when they cannot even provide good clean water. Earlville SHOULD reimburse us for the damage the water has done, and ALL the bottled water. They would have to buy me almost a whole new wardrobe. You cannot drink the water here but they want that money though or they are going to shut your water off. Whats that tell you! Where has all that money gone to. This town is disguting with many things they do. They have promised good water for years and NOTHING but they can afford other UNESSECCARY things. Thats a lot of nerve shutting water off when Earlville cannot provide any kind of good quality water. I like how the village unanimously passed a vote, it SHOULD be voted on by the people of Earlville. WE are the ones who suffer.

This is why I am saying that the community as a whole needs to see this information.
It is beyond ridiculous that this can be allowed without the people in the community voicing their opinion and allowing them to vote on such a matter that will affect every household in Earlville.
Everyone needs to know the facts and get to a town board meeting and halt this action. It just seems to me that this can and should be stopped, at least until the new system is completed. I feel that all water bills prior to the completetion of the project should be null and void.
Apparently not everyone is aware of this action that was 'unanimously' passed.
