I have calls out to Green Tree church and I've been talking to the Fire Company. We've tried the Perk a couple of times and the seating and noise was difficult to make work. Also, I tried Global Packaging and they have some insurance concerns. We'll figure this out soon. An office location with a marker or black board works best.

this has been a very interesting thread even when it was on the other site before it was taken down. I've followed the whole thing mostly because myself and my establishment has been the topic in a lot of the discussion. I just want to say one thing. Nobody from the Neighborhood ever approached me about having a meeting at my Tavern. We are fully capable of handling a meeting of up to 40-50 people but it would be helpful if I knew if you were coming. If no one asks how am I supposed to accommodate anyone? we have plenty of extra chairs and also could supply a display board as well as a 52" HD tv with a PC connection if someone wanted to do a laptop presentation. we also have wireless internet and can easily turn off the music in the back room. You can have it anywhere you like but if you wanted to have someone host it for you it would help me if you let me know.

take care,

Wow, I didn't realize you had to walk to go to the meeting. I was merely suggesting free places. I didn't realize you needed to stay in the immediate oaks area. In that case, go to target or bj's. Maybe you guys can even meet at the post office.

Josh Perky - Thank you for your offer of hospitality.

I'm not sure, but I think the current plan is to alternate the monthly meetings between the Perky and Green Tree church...

Community members interested in contributing to our neighborhood are invited to participate in the next Oaks Neighborhood Association meeting:

Tuesday, May 17th, 2011 at 6:30-8:30pm

Green Tree Church
Fellowship Hall
1078 Egypt Road
Oaks, PA 19456

We moved the meeting to church due to the growing interest of folks who want to get involved. We appreciate the hospitality of the church

Hope to see you there!

Honestly their job is to clean the splattered diarrhea off of the stall wall. When something important comes they will stand aside like the pawns they are. Let them clean the diarrhea.
