You know what? What does this state have to offer? Tax free shopping? No, that's in Delaware. A beautiful sandy beach with blue water caressing it's coast? No, that's Jersey.
What does PA offer? Two slumhouse cheesesteak joints battling over who can clog your arteries fastest? A bunch of pro sports teams that can't win a title to save their lives? M. Shamylan who hasn't had a hit movie since Sixth Sense?
This state is so sad that our biggest claim to fame is still Rocky frickin' Balboa. Oh runnng up the Art Museum steps, haven't seen that before!
What do we have for tourism? An "amish country" where you get stuck driving 4mph behind some horse drawn buggy on your way to stuffing your face in one of their smorgasbord troughs?
A nice view of an outdated nuculear power plant while running up your debt at the "Phildelphia Outlets" that aren't even near Philly?
Crystal Cave? Who's coming to our state to see stalagtites? How about Dutch Wonderland where you can ride a wooden roller coaster?
Did I leave anything out? The joy of traveling on I-76? The crime rate? The city school districts where 1st graders will kick your butt?
They say "You've got a friend in Pennsylvania", but we all know what a laugh that is.

RATING: 4/10

Well you have to remember that Pennsylvania includes a lot more than just the Greater Philadelphia area. However I think we are very fortunate to have as many things to do around here in such close proximity. Great restaurants, colleges, sports arenas and cultural venues. Go out there and try some new things, you may be surprised at what you find.

BTW - tax free shopping and some nasty Atlantic water doesnt mean much too me.

Agreed "Jerk". I mean the big cultural attraction in this area is a broken bell? Really? To start with this ting is made in England and I'm sure that crack was planned by the manufacturer. If you look at it just right I looks like King Charles I is mooning the colonies!
Those ninkompoops Pass and Stow put their name on it when they knew there was no way they could fix it.
So we have a broken item with a foriegn leader mooning us and spam avertising stamped into ths cultural icon. Great! Where do I line up??

Get me the hell out of this state and I'm moving to one where ther is some real attractions.

Argh....

Think you can stay on topic here rather than troll my thread with your off the wall conspiricies Dan? For the record I don't know who Don is. I live in Harrisburg, y'know the state capital? I've never even heard of "Norwood".

No, can't stay on topic when you, "The Jerk" replies to yourself as "Ring My Bell." Learn to read.

You accused "Don" and "Ring my Bell" of being the same person despite them being from different parts of the state. Maybe YOU need to learn how to read properly Dan.
And for the record I'm "The Jerk". If I were Ring my Bell I'd post as "Ring my Bell". Something must be in the drinking water at Colmar.
