I would say definitely not! Catholics believe totally different things that Christians that are NOT in the bible. How do you think that makes God feel. They have different priorities as well. To them, the Virgin Mary is the most important thing in their life, not God! You don't see them buying Jesus candles or having Jesus statues to pray to, it's always Mary! Also, they would rather confess their sins to a man (priest) and not to God! I guess they think God is not capable! jajaj

We have very different beliefs.... As Catholics, we put Mary first and God second. We ask forgiveness from priest because we feel they can do a better job than God, but that's just what we believe. Yes, we pray to the saints also, cuz God needs all the help he can get. Me entiendes???
We don't believe the bible where it says that you must be born again to enter heaven. We pick and choose what we want to believe, but that's what makes being a Catholic so awesome!:)

Either way, both religions are crap. Pastafarianism is the only good religion. The Flying Spaghetti Monster is the only deity I will believe in.

Catholics are Christians. Anyone who believes in Jesus Christ is a Christian.

So true, but the problem is... it will change for the worst. Mormons don't believe in the Trinity. What good is becoming a mormon if you'll have to spend eternity in hell??? Think about it

Im catholic. I was dating a christian girl for bout 2 yrs. She was everything i ever wanted. Things were great with us but her parents were always getting in the way and she agreed. I confronted them and asked them to give her a little more freedom. She's an adult she can make her own decisions. They dont care what she wants its all about them. Never again will i date a girl like that, guess i learned the hard way!

Sounds like a personality problem, not a religion problem. I know mixed faith couples that get along just fine. It's a dealbreaker only if people let it be one. Apparently that girl let it.

I couldnt agree with you more Zen. I told her time after time after time she was the only one who could change things by Sticking up for herself and for us. But i guess keeping the folks happy was more important than what we had. Im 28,got my head on straight and i know exactly what i want in life. I was just looking foward to her being a part of it. Oh well...

I agree, as long as both parties are not deeply devoted to their faith, it can work. It's just when one is committed to their's and the other is not.

You should have never dated a Christian. We have very different beliefs that do Catholics. It's like night and day different! Catholics pray to Mary and to saints, where we Christians do not.
We follow the bible where it says you must be born again, which Catholics don't believe! So there is just too much difference! She should have known better than to date a Catholic! Hello!

I believe we will not be saved by religion but by the faith we have in God. No matter what religiOn you are if it brings you closer to God then that religion will be the one you choose. We shouldn't criticize people with different religion different views it's what makes us bad people.
