I have a friend who is a Christian, but dating a Catholic. Yes, some catholics do consider themselves Christians, but the real question is... are they born again as commanded in John 3:7. If they are not born again, run the other way!

You need to stay away from your friend because your opinions will jeopardize their relationship. We are all gods children and being of a different religion or beliefs is common all over the world. I am not going to tell a Catholic that his beliefs or religion is not the correct one. Why should you even have a concern about your friend? Now that's a question you should ask yourself. God be with you.

It'll never work out for them. Didn't for me. She said she loved me, but because they are such good christians She chose to keep her dad happy over having a life with me.
I guess it's the christian way or no way..

It shouldn't matter as I have friends or family members of different religions. I can't start saying everyone is wrong. You needed to win her over and maybe you needed to try harder.

That's why you should also date an atheist, so you'll have a lot in common! Hello!!!! That's my point!

I would literally do everything and anything for her even if it was at an inconvenience to me sometimes
. But words out of her mouth.." how am i supposed to go against my dad".
i can't compete with that. And i'm a grown man i wasn't going to be told when, what and how to have a relationship with her.

Just throwing in my two cents. Hopefully others won't feel what i felt.

For the sane people reading this, read up on Richard Dawkins. He is brilliant.

You need to learn to be patient. If you truly love her you would enjoy the time you have with her. And when married then you can enjoy her all to yourself.

2 1/2 yrs together then why not just get married. You wouldn't have the problem of not being able to see her.
