I wonder what the state would think about their patients eating their own feces and the cnas dont clean their hands

sorry but it is true, it doesnt make you look professional to deny those rumors, just makes your facility look sorry. The best you can say is, we will fix it. But no, you deny it. True facts, cada kien se tapa..no tienen berguenza en no admitir de las maranadas de las CNA's.

Well I think it should be team work... Nurse's should get involved with pt care also.. I mean if they see a pt needs to be changed why not change the pt or if they see the call light is on get off your ass and go check the pt... Just because we are nurses does not mean we get to sit on our ass and rely on th e CNA's to do what we are also able to do... Charlotte plz give your nurse's a little bit more responsability...

Why l
LVN's and RN's went to school paid their dues so they could perform higher levels of care, not to perform more basic levels of care. That's why you have CNA's. It's like asking a teacher to go mow the school yard or clean the hallways, that's why there are janitors. Justy opinion.

Wow you are an RN uneducated ignorant stuck up... List goes on for morons like you. No I'm not a nurse ima software programer. I do my job and my co worker does his. I don't try to do the janitors job, or anyone else Lastly dumb ass I said rn lvn went to school to perform higher order thinking skills. If the CNA is readily available they should do these skills while the rn or lvn keep to the scope of their practice. My wife is a nurse and did the internship at theyour work site. Babe wasn't impressed with your lvn's or rn's.

Your calling me a dumb ass plz. I don't work at a nursing home nursing is a different line of work than just being a computer programer. You call me uneducated LOL. Being a nurse requires team work for better patient care that means working together regardless of who has the higher the education. I don't consider myself stuck up I just take my job seriously. My job is to be impressed with facilities or people it's about they type of nursing care I am going to provide for the pt.. Maybe your wife is in wrong career path....

Ok, I did not understand what you tried to tell Tx nurse....lol I am a nurse and I am really sorry to hear your wife is a nurse too. Let me tell you why...being an RN does not make you superior to an LVN and likewise, being an LVN does not make you superior to a CNA. Yes, we all should stick to our scope of practice which tells me, your wife does not know crap about it!!! There must be a reason why she didn't like it there. She felt superior to the rest of the nurses?!?!? Staying within the scope of practice means not going beyond knowlege you have not yet acquired. For example, a CNA cannot change a tracheostomy tube, peg tube or insert a foley but an RN & LVN can turn a patient to their side or feed them or bathe them, if the situation calls for it and the LVN or RN are not busy doing their duties.I agree with TX nurse because to be a nurse, you really need to learn to be how to be humble, caring and compassionate. I think that if you are only in it for the money, you are going to end up changing careers in less than 5yrs. Why was your wife not impressed, why, as a nurse didn't she speak up for the patients? Afterall, she is an advocate for the patient. I have studied hard for the degree that I have, but you know what, being an RN does not stop me from getting call lights or turning my patients. Yes, the RN has more responsibilities than the LVNs and LVNs have more responsibilities than CNAs. Sometimes you need to remember where you come from and not be "oh, well, let the LVN or the CNA get that"....just FYI.....lol oh, and don't generalize.

first of my wife didn't like it there because there was a lack of care for the patients. She walked in on a nurse and I think an orderly messing around, she saw lvn's not doing basic skills, cna's mistreating the elderly b she was disappointed. Lastly I understand the concept behind " scope of practice". As for who is better than who, not even a point in my discussion. I'll go slow since you failed to understand my previous point ok. People who obtained a higher level of training typically perform at that level at work. CNA's janitors and the like ( no offense intended I was a janitor while working through college) do not. They do the grunt work so those who have a higher degree can concentrate on performing higher level thinking skilled work without worrying about the basic needs. If you are familiar with Maslow( you should be, but the way you run your mouth I highly doubt it) physical needs is the base and more important level which CNA's help or ensure this level is performed. So you see I am not saying CNA's are a lesser breed, because they help with basic level care. But LVN' s, RN's, and Dr. Are concerned with fulfilling higher levels of needs that CNA's can not and should not be working at. If I lose you I'm sorry I'll be sure to put pictures you can color to help explain. Okay now go to bed child it's past your bed time.

By the way my Masters is going to lead me to system analysis and project management. Their regular pay with proper vertifications is easily mid 120k to 180k a year. What you think only BP or Customs can pull in that type of bread? Cuz honestly if you did you belong in EP. Look not insulting you but I used to think the same way then I went to college out of town ended in San Antonio finished my degree and realized that bP is just a way out for us Eagle Passians. Why? Because we are always told bp makes da $. We are never told of all the other great jobs. Man I do work for a lot of different companies in my field and I have met people who with a BS or business who right out of college were making 80k. One lady from Cali. Her company flies her to different states to do her job gets picked up spend 6 mo. Or less on a project makes about 180k. Her job identify the problem Then she goes home reports what the problem is and someone who makes less money than her solves it. I don't know who you are what you do or anything about you, but if you aim for bp or customs that's cool just b4 you do open your eyes to other more interesting possibilities. B

Ps that woman I told you about isn't sent with in the US she also travels abroad Asia Europe

Plz quit being so materialistic... We don't care how much you make but I am worried about the care your wife will be providing. Did she really think nursing would be easy and earn a very good living at the same time.. Let me tell you Mr. computer software person.. Your wife thought that nursing would be a very good career path because we are highly in demand because of the shortage in nursing now she realized she is actually going to have to earn her money and not delegate to others on what should be done... Unlike you I wont say how much I earn a year because with the good living I make comes both joy and grief. I have been a nurse for over 17 years and I love my job.. So do us nurse's a favor send your wife back to college and have her major in computer software...
