Some people like point fingers to blame others for their faults and that it's always somebody's fault. Whatever happen to taking responsibility for their actions? We, as teachers, have the hardest jobs ever and we have to deal with students' problems because they bring them to the classroom. Children are the innocent representation of their family. Their behavior in the classroom is very telling what problems they have at home and also they display behavioral mechanisms that they learn from their parents. We deal with a lot. It all begins at home. We teach them reading, math, science, writing, and other subjects and then we correct their behavior. Some of these kids come to school broken, sad, angry, hungry, dirty, high, drunk, pregnant, sick, and tired to function in school. They cannot even begin to perform well in school. Parents, where are you to let down your kids like that???? Children are generally happy when their parents are happy, but if nothing is going right in the home, these symptoms appear to manifest in your child's lives. You are responsible parents, not the teachers.

omg ... do you realize that they salary they are receiving is part of their 9 month salary for "babysitting" as many parents chose to put it your kids it's just divided by 12 instead of divide by 9 ... yea, maybe they shouldn't get paid for the time they are off and collect umemployment and food stamps like all the rest of the "respectable" citizens in Eagle Pass.
