Is it going to help winn a bunch and tremendously hurt eagle high losing villasenor? Will he be able to take whatever coach he wants? Will he be able to recruit some of those eagles over to maverick country? Can't wait for fb season......go mavs

One thing is that Eric will definitely put a stop to the Eagles poaching the best players from Winn.

Ironic isn't it...kind of a tongue twister but its a win win for winn:) of course winn just got stronger and eagle pass got weaker....hard to replace him at ep high. How are they replacing him? Who is new oc at high?

I don't think EPHS has hired an offensive coordinator to replace Eric. And Eric has not hired an offensive and defensive coordinator for the Mavs either. I heard some members of the Eagle staff are going to Winn, but I'm not sure who it was. It was mentioned on the EP Alumni.com sports forum. |

Sorry but villasenor couldn't do anything with all the talent he had at ephs-what makes you think he's going to accomplish anything with a lot less talent at ez winn? He's overrated just like his daddy.

Villasenor put up some good offensive numbers at ep high....not his fault the defense couldn't stop a pop warner team. And not fair to compare him to his father...two very different ppl

your darling villasenor avg 12 points the last two seasons. what "good" offensive numbers are you talking about? he is one of this over rated coaches that is there because of his daddy's name- that's it.

Hating always in eagle pass...who would u rather have the ruiz bros or what:) he's only going to be good as the assistants he brings in. Needs a good dc for sure...heard he already has three solid assistants from ep high...goodluck to eric and don't listen to the hayers

Still think eric was the best guy for this job. Its gonna be hard to bring in someone to coach in eagle pass. Just don't cry when he does good and starts getting offers somewhere else and leaves.

I heard he brought over three assistants from ep high and an oc from sa....he's only missing a dc...that's gonna be crucial since he's an offensive guy
