Okay, I know there are some good teachers in EP. All of this bashing is tiresome and annoying. Let's hear some positive feedback. So, who was your best teacher? Who was that teacher you will always remember?

This is probably a teacher seeking validation for her shortcomings as a teacher. A good teacher does not seek recognition in a forum, especially Topix. Whatever praise you'll find here would be a popular battle. Popular does not mean you are the best and being labeled only as "cool, "badass," etc. says a lot of what you probably are not. So instead of battling it out here, employ your summer to prepare for the next school year. Y'all have an AWESOME Summer!

Who was that teacher you will always remember? Punetas, you see, no one has come out in defense of EP teachers. Good job there sonny I see that the future of Eagle Pass really appreciate your mediocrity, yes they remember that you didn't give a fk about their education. Try harder partner, your efforts are not being recognized by the people you claim to have "educated."

Although I do have to say that you did teach them to look somewhere else for a good education. These now parents have realized that what you teach is quite simply below standard.

We do have good teachers. If you don't want for your child to be below standard maybe as a parent you can get more involved in their education. Prepare them at home so they can succeed in school. Teach them discipline so that when they are in school they pay attention and do their work. You know some students read topix. If you as a parent come in here and write all this negative stuff about teachers. How do you expect the students to respect them and listen to them. Remember if they don't listen they don't learn. NO I AM NOT A TEACHER and I am glad this town is so ungrateful.

Even though we were really young I saw him as more than a teacher he felt like a friend. I will miss him.

Mrs. Elida Garza from Nellie Mae Glass back in the 70's. She was my 4th, 5th, & 6th grade English teacher. At at time when I was going thru something very difficult in my life and my self-esteem was at its lowest she made me believe that maybe I wasn't as worthles as I thought. Does anyone remember her? Wonder what happened to her.
