Why do they even announce this stuff since it seems to happen every week lately.

Great security there or is it just an open prison type to house the low life punks of society?

Murderers belong in the big house regardless of age so why do they put minors with felony convictions in juvi to begin with.

Just further proof that NM is incapable of detaining and/or incarcerating criminals, regardless of their ages. If stimulus money is going to be used, I submit that the poor state of our legal system here should have a hysterectomy!

Even 3rd world countries are capable of keeping prisoners in jail.

More proof that this state has some very inept people in a great many positions in state government. The government in this state cannot fix the most basic of problems.

This what happens when you treat murdering scum like they are kids. We need to stop letting the bleeding heart liberal dems have their way. These kids are not even close to being kids. THEY KILL OTHER PEOPLE. No kid I ever met thinks killing is a kid thing. I say you kill you get tried and convected you go to the big boy prison without consideration of the age of the scum. Bleeding heart libs...want to treat them like kids? Take them home with you. Take them to chucky cheese, toy r us, and let them sit on your lab, cuddle them as they rape your daughters, and plot to kill your dumb a$$.

Stupidity is what the state runs on. Nothing new there. Lock those so called kids up and treat them like they treat others. They have proven themselves to be vicious animals not humans. GET THE DEATH PENALY BACK GOVERNOR!!!!!!!!!!

The citizens should be outraged - Physical security needs some major attention (also classification of offenders and separation) A offender in for second degree murder and the other providing alcohol to a minor if charges are correct?...I sure hope New Mexico does not accept any Gitmo Terrorist!

Why bother locking them up just so they can let themselves out? Maybe the judges should just take them home for dinner. What the heck is going on that they can't keep the kids locked up anymore. Take the guards TV away so they will do their darn jobs!

I hope they I don't see they around here because the price of ammo has risen so much i might have to hold them at gunpoint and call the police instead of shooting on sight.

Murder and this little fu~k is in juvy? That's the first problem right there. If this boy is man enough to kill somebody than he's man enough to be behind bars with the big boys.

YDDC is in big trouble if these so called kids can escape at will. One of these days one of the escaped kids will kill again to avoid recapture. Fat Bill needs to overhaul the security at all YDDC facilities. Murderers need to be in the state prison system. Escape risks need to be in the state prison system. This is inexcusable.

Is somebody innocent getting killed needing to happen before these people pull their heads out of the sand and do something about security at that facility? These frequent escapes are really getting old.

The weakest link in any New Mexico jail are its guards, many of whom are as crooked as a dog's hind legs. How else would you account for so many escapes by so many inmates at the same time? I've lost count of how many prisoners have even escaped from the NE Heights Sub-Station at Osuna NE & Wyoming NE. One guy escaped with a CHAIR attached to his wrist by handcuffs! As with developer Jason Daskalos and former Albuquerque Police Officer Kirby, there usually is a little inside help available.

It has happened before and the state has not changed the system because of the libs. "They are only childern, and should not be locked behind metal bars". Children my butt. Childern don't kill, rape, and rob people. The facility in springer has no iron bars nor ten foot high fences around it because the libs say it not a good environment for growing minds. Why don't the libs take these aspiring young minds home with them during their sentenceing time. Maybe then after living with these scums for a while the libs will understand what animals they really are. then maybe they will put these animals behind bars. not behind soft curtain covered windows with open grounds to run from.

For 38 years, I taught these kinds of worthless pukes in high school. They are called BD - Behavior Disturbed - fancy words for crazy.

Good old federal law states you can't throw them out of school if their behavior is a manifestation of their disability. So, if they're classified as crazy and they perform the act of a crazy person, they are still kept in school. Can't discriminate because of a disability you know. Hogwash.

One of them stabbed me with a 12 inch stilletto completely through my right thing at school in Gallup. The principal told me if I made a big deal out of it, she'd fire me, as the mother was employed by community corrections.

The solution for these guys is simple. School and juvenile facilites aren't it. Bullets are cheap.

I found another position in Los Lunas. To this day, the Gallup schools blackballed me because they claim I abandoned my students. The law requires a 30 day notice, which is what I gave them ( 34 days actually) but it was to their benefit to label me as the bad guy.

These kinds of animals will hurt and kill all of their lives. They're psychopaths.

Come on you bleeding heart liberals, lets hear you defend them. You have no idea what they are capable of.

what these punks need to do is kill someone in authority. or someone who is rich, then i see the authorities might move their as,ses. look at the big deal they're making out of that cop Lagrnge. How is he considered a hero when he wasn't helping anyone he was giving a ticket. now he has a stretch of road named after him. the taxpayer doesn't matter unless he or she is rich.
