This is so incredibly sad. With just a couple inches of snow on the ground, tires in poor condition are extremely dangerous. Winter is here, no more pretending. Check your tires. If they are not good to great, replace them. It's not just you and your familty at risk, but all the folks with whom we share the road.
Please, check your tires, and replace them if needed.
RIP

People here drive too damn fast and even seem more aggressive than in any state I've ever lived, including New York, California or Texas, and that's saying something. Where are all the Highway Patrolmen???

I estimate at least 90% of drivers on I-80 (legal speed limit 65mph) are typically driving between 85 and a 100mph!! And in PC on I-40 typical speeds are 80-90; even at a 55mph speed limit, I see cars speeding at 75-85, with impunity, EVERYDAY!

The revenues would be significant if Patrols were more aggressive. But most importantly, the roads would be safer. I pity our teenage drivers trying to stay alive on these roads. I'm an experienced driver, and I hate driving here because of maniacs on the road.

Apparently you get the trifecta in attitude for living in New York, California, and Texas. Look, this article was about a tragic accident that took the life of 3 family members. You want to steer the comments to your own personal agenda. Do people speed? Yes, but not at the speeds you claim. And don't pity the teenage drivers, just tell them not to text and keep their hands at the 10 and 2 position.
