When did the city start a citizen on patrol and who is in charge??

Awhile back while coming home an unknown car came up behind me while driving down Liberty School Rd in a very aggressive manner. Being is was dark, I continued doing the speed limit and was obeying all traffic laws. As I made a left turn I happen to notice a small sign on the sign on that car that said, citizen on patrol, or something to this effect.

I almost chocked on my soda but then I got mad!!
It is against the law to tailgate and IF I had stopped suddenly this car would have rear ended me causing a wreak.
I have lived in this city for 20 years and have driven the same car for 10.

The next day I asked some questions and found out that citizens were indeed patrolling the city and that the council member and EX-cop Calvin Hunter was the one who had done this to me!! I know Calvin Hunter and I just can't believe he acted so rudely. He is NOT a COP anymore and should NOT be acting like one!!

A EX-COP SHOULD know the laws and WHY would he have driven in such an aggressive manner causing me to fear for my safety?? Thought they were suppose to protect us not cause us fear??

So WHO is in charge of the group and WHO do I file a complaint about this to?? If anyones knows PLEASE inform us??
I would also like to know who are all the members, and if anyone else has had a run in, or confrontation with anyone from this group??

This is NOT what Citizen on Patrol are suppose to do and I"m mad as hell!!!

I would investigate the "citizens arrest" laws here in Texas, and the next time that you witness this type of behavior, arrest them, if you can. We have a high enough crime rate here in the Azle, PB area to begin with, without some wannabe, contributing to the problems!

I keep a digital camera in my car at all times out here. It has a video camera mode so I can take a video of things going on. You might consider that as well. Out here, the Bubba network is alive and well and running the town. A video can't be disputed if you need to take your complaint beyond city hall for something to be done. Just something to think about. I encourage everyone to do the same.

I been talking with some friends and have found out the Calvin has a blue light on his dash board. Guess he thinks he has the right to pull someone over. And that he may be carrying some type of tazer or pepper spray.
I know pepper spray is not illegal but while doing a wanna be cop job THEY are NOT suppose to confront a suspect in ANY manner. And tazers are for law enforcement officers who MUST be tazed themselves before THEY can use or carry a tazer.
I can bet that Calvin has not done either nor has the right to carry and use a tazer while playing a cop.
I wonder if these wanna be cops are patrolling while there is not an officer on duty?? Wanna be cops are NOT suppose to patrol UNLESS an officer is on duty to respond to their calls of a reported crime, etc.
But then again, the council members think and most dangers BELIEVE they can do what the want.
The more I hear the madder I get!!!

If y'all can get rid of your problems maybe Reno can follow and rid itself of them as well .
Heck Reno has a officer that was once a want-a-be and was arrested for it , but yet now is a officer , I guess determination pays off , or you need a record to work for Reno , either one .

That's tooo funny. This Calvin Hunter was a cop many years ago in the bay but now has lost his commission and would not pass the requirements needed today. Hell he even tried to get the city to help him become a cop again, go figure. The man has had heart attacks(reported in azle news), is fat and wayyyy out of shape, but who knows, maybe some poor sap of a city would take him back, NOT!!!

3 of the 6 posts here were actually made by angry and bitter loser RMC pretending to be "Law Abiding Citizen" and were baseless and unnecessary personal attack posts consisting of nothing more than libel and slander against councilman Hunter.

Just ask someone who had the misfortune of "serving time" with her, or even quit the council because they couldn't stand her.

Yes friends have been keeping me informed on what is said here and {they} respond with their opinions. And when you don't like what they say, you assume it is me. Sorry, wrong again. These friends are FULLY aware of everything that happened to me and what I stood for during my time on council and they have always and continue to stand by me. They are indeed true friends! This is why they "know" so much about what went on out there. And IF they are not sure about a situtations, they ask questions.

I could care less what Frankum and his group of croonies do, I care about the city but I am no longer involved with what happens there.
I am not in the city and have not been for months, I do not know what is happening, not that I don't care, just too busy to worry about it. I may not like what I hear but I'm not about to become involved.
There are many who wish to continue to hide their heads in the sand, thats their choice, nothing I can do.
As for the budget request, yes I did request it BUT for someone who wished for their ID not to be known. I had no problems doing this for them because they are a citizen of the city and I was glad to do so.
Continue to attack me for whatever relief you get from doing so, but I am done with it all and why I do not post here or comment on anything that is going on in or out of the city. Give it up and move on with your life. I'm out of the picture.

If you are someone who really cares for the city, you should put YOUR best effert into making it work and by volunteering your time to make improvements.
I wish the best for Pelican Bay and its citizen and I truely hope the next elections will bring a new beginning for all.
