Seven horses dead

Galen Scott gscott@weatherforddemocrat.com At least six horses were found dead and one was euthanized after Parker County Animal Control Officers responded to unidentified property along FM 730 between Weatherford and Azle Wednesday.

This is so sad. I wonder where the owner was and why he didn't check to make sure the horses were taken care of. I have a horse and I think how they must have suffered without food but especially water as hot as it is.

I called the parker county sheriffs dept about 2 years ago about some horses off 730 betwenn azle and weatherford. I wonder if they are the same ones? Any idea what street it was on?
