Didn't even dawn on them? Please! Are you trying to tell us that those two weren't tuned in to all the gay rights info that a large number of well-connected activists could muster? That they didn't know the consequences? That the entire purpose of their move was not to challenge Idaho law as part of a gay rights effort? That they are not hoping an activist federal court will overrule state law?
Are they incapable of quitting their jobs and going to a company that voluntarily offers what they want? No? Well then, how about the thousands of Americans who INvoluntarily lose their jobs each year, for no reason within their control?
No sympathy here. None at all. If they feel unwelcome in Idaho, there are plenty of places, such as Santa Cruz, where they would feel right at home. It is not the case that the world hates them or is being unfair to them.
