Its sooo hard to do mix babies/patients up in a hospital. You have to be extremely careless to not read the color coded bands with names and numbers matching baby to mommy.

I'd sue also.

I was upset when I wasn't the one to take my son to get his first haircut at the barbershop.

I could only imagine how tramatized mom has to be to know her babies first meal came from the breast of another. Every illness the baby has from this point on, the mom will have questions about this HUGE mistake.

Yeah, and if your child was breastfed by someone who could have dormant diseases and you wouldn't sue for any future financial burdens you may have because of a mistaken that every hospital in the U.S can avoid.

Sure.

Tell it to Donald Trump and Romney.

I'm sure they never sue anyone...for anything. And they wouldn't sue something has minor has their child's health. Only for business reasons.

From Article
"I still can't process what happened," said Van Dyke. "And then they tested the mother for HIV and hepatitis. They tested me. They tested Cody. Everybody's negative, so that's the good news."

According to the hospital's statement, the nurse did not follow proper procedures and match the codes on the infant's bands to the mother's"

Sounds like they lucked out. Would you have sued if the test were positive?

Naah....you're against suing. LOL

I would probably very upset as well this is your child and what if this person has some sort of disease or a drug user or something like that, that baby that you took care of and made sure to eat right and exercise and take care of yourself because you knew that their was that innocent child inside of you that's just not something to laugh at or anything, you wouldn't if it was your child..

Not too many decades ago there were women hired as wet nurses. They were nanny's that could give breast to the employers infants. Don't recall any story's of death by D-cup from those days.
