Heard the other day that the registers in front of Mcdonald's are going to be taken out and more self checks are going to be installed. Just wondering if it is a rumor?

I hates me some Wal-Mart. I stopped shopping there years ago as well. If I'm going to be raped at least give me some service while you're at it.

The day won't come when I check myself out for free. If you want to give me a 15% discount on my purchase for checking myself out then I'll consider it.

I love self-checkouts. You do not have to interact with the poors as much.

Why???? The self checkouts that they have now barely work and the "lady" (and I am using that term very loosely) acts as though she could care less to come and do HER job to assist you. I hate going to Wal-mart and only go maybe once a month. I miss the mom and pop establishments and wished the government would stop this craziness so they would be able to open back up. I don't mind paying a little extra for good service and to people that act as though they appreciate your business. WAL-MART SUCKS!!!!

The workers at Kroger's self check are always helpful and will find people waiting in line and offer to check them out.

IF Wal Mart was not here you people would bitch and complain about something else. There are some rude people who come in there to shop.
Its not perfect, but what place is.
Krogers is no better.I went in to use the coin star machine one time and they did not have the cash to pay me.It was over a 1000.00, butdid not have that amount in the store.

I stopped shopping at Wal-Mart years ago. It's really up to consumers to start supporting the small locally owned stores in order for there to be more of them around. Life without shopping at Wal-Mart is good and I don't save any money by going to Wal-Mart. I own a small retail store and Wal-Mart or any big corporate chain doesn't hinder my progress. It goes back to treating people like you would want to be treated as a customer. That's how you keep business. Complaining about big companys like Wal-Mart doesn't make them go away. Stop supporting them is the key.

They have places called banks, ya know. Most stores don't keep that kind of cash around cuz they don't want to get robbed! I wouldn't even want them to count it out to me and then walk through the parking lot with that much cash. People notice a lot more than you give them credit for seeing.

This town needs a Target or K-Mart to provide some competition and some jobs. Now, Walgreen's is taking over USA Drugs, which bought out Belew & Ray, so now we'll have another little monopoly.

SELF CHECK OUTS TAKE JOBS AWAY FROM PEOPLE AND IF YOU SCREW UP YOU HAVE TO WAIT FOR SOMEONE TO FIX THE PROBLEM !

You all need to get the Union at Wall Mart, and ALL of hamburger alley dives in Dburg and Durg will flourish once again with better wage and benefit JOBS. When the Union pickets come, support them and stand up to republicans that control the backward town ! Union is also needed at the disrespectful to employees dollar general store at 4 points ! Geter done.
TAKE YOUR TOWN BACK, VOTE DEMOCRAT.

Yeah, Unions really helped those people at Goodyear, didn't they? Now the Union leaders all all enjoying a nice cushy job, with all of the benefits. Where are the workers? Probably pushing buggies at Walmart. Keep talking, I'm sure you can talk these poor people into giving the Union Reps another 30 dollars a month. For nothing!

Or the union at Cub Cadet in Brownsville. Plant closed. Lot of good the union did them.
