are there any doctors in dyersburg that will prescribe adipex? I just had a baby but I am not extremely overweight, just want to lose 20 or 30lbs and im wondering who would be the best doctor to see? Ive heard good things about adipex from friends and really want to try it.

adipex only works if you stick to a diet. you cannot take these pills forever, so you need to learn how to eat better and exercise. If you do neither of those you will gain your weight back plus 20 more. The dr across from lowes does prescribe them to you. $60 a month

yes but is there a dr that accepts my insurance Blue cross blue shield that way I only have to pay for the prescription? I do walk and use a treadmill I am aware that exercise is a must I just need a little motivation to keep the weight off and a drop in a size or 2 would help so much for me.

I put on that much weight when I was pregnant too. I didn't have much money for diet programs or pills. I just drank slim fast for breakfast and one for lunch. Then I ate a lean cuisine for dinner. I walked about 10 to 15 min a day. Nothing major. No running. Only drank sugar free drinks. The weight came off, no problem. Just had to stick to it. I've kept it off for a few years now. Hope this helps.

You can go to sheryl wright on st john. Just tell her that you want to be on her diet program and she'll give it to you. I used it after my first child and lost seventy pouds, but also walked everyday with it also.

I also see Dr Sheryl on St. John at the walk in clinic. I have BCBS also and I started them the first of Febuary and I have lost 70 pounds so far. I have not been this small since high school. Im extremly happy with the results. & no I do not gain the weight back if I dont take them. It's the only thing Iv ever taken to help me losde the weight. After 3 kids it feels good to have lost as much as I have. At Super D's I think they are $22.00 but at Craines in Ripley they are only $15.00 there. So hope that helps some!

I think this doctor gives you the pills at the office doesnt he? So if he does the 60 dollars woould be for the visit and the pills. That is what I heard I really dont know.

When taking them its not really not recomened to excercise to me that is. i have been on them for awhile & lost wieght, but im asking you ,did you excercise losing that your wieght?
BS! of course it is recommended that you exercise! If not you are seeing a quack that should lose a MD license. This medicine works best when you exercise! Besides, it is healthier for you!

YOU have been given bad advice! Change DR.s; get the facts! Good luck!

insurance does not pay for diet pills. they prescribe you the generic version and it ranges from 17 to 25 per bottle. all pharmacists will tell you that no insurance covers adipex or the generic version. i went to a dr in ripley and he prescribed them to me and i got them filled at fred's pharmacy for $17.70 and all i had to pay at the dr's office was my co-pay. good luck
